Kapitel 69: Heaven's Council

AS THE MAN in front of Louisanna spoke that sentence, the bright light went intense, surrounding the whole room— to the point Louisanna couldn't see anyone, anymore.

What she could only see was the pure white crystal floating in front of her, like it was calling her presence to touch it.

"W-Why…" Louisanna trailed off, but she couldn't finish her sentence as her throat felt dry. The light surrounding her gave her a hard time gasping for air and functioning properly.

'Why is it so fascinating?' she wanted to ask herself. 'And scary at the same time?'

As Louisanna walked slowly towards the white crystal like her feet had their own consciousness to drag her to that place, her breathing became ragged as her heart continued thumping. Nervousness was visible on her face as a drop of sweat built on her forehead.

'Touch it,' a gentle, sweet voice spoke into her mind.
