Listening to Macy's encouragement, Jade shut her eyes for a second then reopened them.

"Whenever I see his face, I am reminded of why I am where I am in the first place," she confessed, letting out a deep breath.

"But do you feel that way when the mate bond kicks in and you want him?"

"Huh... No. at that point I want him so much that it seems my brain would explode or my insides would stop aching without him."

"That should let you know that with love you can forgive. You have a big heart, Jade. Use it and let it go. Free yourself, dear, lessen your burden."

"I guess I would try."

"No. This is not the time for trying, Jade. Time is not waiting for you. Yes, I know it hurts that they are dead and all but baby girl, you have to move on. Do not allow the dead to be the driving force for your existence. You know your parents wouldn't have wanted this."

"But I owe it to them to get revenge."
