"He has typhoid symptoms," Javin said as he placed the stethoscope on the nightstand beside Forth's bed. "There are signs of dehydration and malnutrition as well. Look, he has a very flat stomach and for someone with tan skin, he's pretty pale."

Shone took a deep breath and turned to Kwan. "This is what I've been worried about, Kwan. He's going to collapse like this. Both his body and mind are too tired, but this stubborn brat is so hard to handle!"

Kwan patted Shone's shoulder, calming him down. "Never mind, now he's under the care of a reliable doctor. Let's just trust them until he recovers."

Doctor Norman had heard stories about Forth and Javin in the past, when they found the two on the wooded side outside the village.

Shone and Kwan were getting ready to go home as it was getting dusk, but they couldn't find Forth. A small child said that before he saw Forth and Javin walking together out of the village.
