"Phi, how about you do it this way?" Javin pulled his chair closer to the one where Forth was sitting, pulled his laptop towards him and scrolled through the charts while explaining why he did this and that.
Forth looked at Javin from the side while thinking how curly and long his eyelashes were, how sharp the tip of his nose was, and how red his lips were busy moving.
Javin stopped talking and turned to the Forths. "Phi? Did you hear what I explained?"
Forth stuttered and laughed nervously. "I-I'm a bit distracted, sorry, so how about... wooaahh... you made all of this up?" Forth stared at his laptop screen in amazement.
Javin sighed. "I'm trying to make your task easier, Phi, but you're daydreaming."
Forth smiled while scratching his head. It's impossible not to be distracted by the breathtaking sight before your eyes.
"Okay, I'm guilty," Forth said. "Would you mind repeating your explanation? We can use another chart as an example."
Javin nodded and repeated his explanation again. This time Forth tried to be more focused.
Javin stretched after two hours. "Phi, would you like to eat something before continuing? It's only three charts left," said Javin.
Forth looked at the clock. It's almost one in the morning. "Are you not tired?" Forth asked.
"This is the time at the mini market, I'm counting inventory and getting ready to clean the floor," replied Javin lightly.
Forth nodded and tapped Javin lightly on the shoulder "How about you just keep on with the graph until it's finished, while I'll make bacon and egg sandwiches for us?" Forth asked. "You're more skilled at it because you invented the formula. We'll stop at two and sleep."
Javin raised his thumb. "I don't like it too spicy and too sour, Phi," Javin said lightly.
Forth made a hand salute to his forehead. "Ay ay, Captain!"
Javin smiled and returned to focused on the laptop. Forth came out of the study and went downstairs to the kitchen on the first floor.
He opened the fridge and was wide-eyed. It was filled with various foods from top to bottom. Forth closed the fridge and opened another cupboard next to it and saw the same thing. He wondered when Javin bought all that?
It had been six days since Javin worked for him and he had never heard of Javin asking permission to go out shopping.
Forth quickly made sandwiches and was even more amazed when he realized that all the food supplies were according to his reference.
"Javin, when are you shopping? I've never seen you purposely go shopping, but our fridge is full," Forth said while placing a plate of sandwiches for Javin on the table.
Javin typed something on the laptop then turned his head with a satisfied smile on his lips. "Done! Oh, I shop little by little every time I come home from campus. I don't like deliberately going out to shop because it's just a waste of time and usually the shopping plan gets a little messy because there's too much to buy and lots of unnecessary things to buy too."
Forth stared at Javin with his mouth open. He could barely believe his own ears. "Javin, there's a driver here who can take you anywhere. Do you know that?" Forth asked.
Javin reached for the sandwich. "Yeah, I know. Phi Kwan said, I can ask Uncle Dacha to accompany me if necessary."
"Then why don't you ask him to take you to the supermarket to shop instead of doing it yourself every time you come home from college?"
"It's okay, Phi, I'm afraid you need Uncle Dacha when I'm with him and it would be troublesome. Besides, I know the discount schedule in some supermarkets, so I buy certain items when they are on sale. It can save you money, Phi."
Forth sighed and sat back in his chair. He had never had an assistant think of saving money by buying things at a discount. Javin, let alone thinking about a discount. Instead of doing that, several assistants have even been recorded as deliberately increasing the price of goods because they thought they would not be caught.
"Javin, are you done with all those charts?" asked Forth while looking at his laptop screen.
Javin swallowed the sandwich in his mouth and cleaned his hands with a tissue. "This is done. I've created the basic format for you, so it will be easier for you to enter data later. All graphs will be automatically drawn once you enter the numbers."
"This is great. Where did you learn about an app like this? You're a medical student, right?"
Javin smiled shyly. "I loved computers since I was little. I dreamed of becoming a hacker, so I learned all about computers, applications, and the internet. When I was in fourth grade I broke into the school's computers, so two subjects had to be repeated because of the problem. It was leaked because of me."
"Why did you enter the medical department?"
"That was my mother's wish. She wished I could become a doctor because she couldn't do it. If my mother hadn't died so tragically, I might have been in prison for hacking into NASA's defense system."
Forth looked at Javin and then burst out laughing loudly. "Oh my God, Javin, you are so unique."
"Yeah, that's true, Phi. I still managed to hold my mother's hand when she was dying and before closing her eyes, she whispered to me, Son, you must be a great doctor."
Tears rolled down Javin's cheeks, but he quickly wiped them away with a smile. "So I applied on a full scholarship because of my excellent grades and suppressed desire to rummage through the secrets of all the deep web sites."
Forth reached out and wiped the remaining tears from Javin's cheeks. "At least, with that unique intelligence of yours, you'll also manage to become an excellent doctor."
"I hope so."
"Hey," Forth called out, taking Javin's hand. "I know what can make your sexy brain even more relaxed after our little talk."
"Hmm?"
"Come on, put on your jacket!"
Javin look at Forth unsure, but then he nod.
"Okay."
