Kapitel 65: Stealing a Kiss

Arhse left soon after they were both done eating. There was still a long while before Tahra's shift would be over, so she returned to her position by the wall, lifting her head to stare at the blue skies above. The clouds seemed heavy with rain, but the presence of the sun made her feel that a downpour would still take a while.

"I have a new phone, but with no way to contact Herret and ask for money, or even Maeve or Mother!" Tahra wondered if she would have to depend on Joe to get the message across. Her thoughts were still fleeting when Tahra heard a loud thump.

She instantly sighed, taking a deeper breath than she needed before raising her head to look at the familiar figure who had thrown himself off the wall.

ZANE!

"I didn't think I would see you again!" Tahra began speaking before Zane could say a word. He wore his usual black outfit, his face still covered in a way that allowed only his blue eyes to be seen.
