Kapitel 82: 082 - From the ashes

The brown-haired man with an air of success to him followed his assistant through a private path, away from the crowd of the airport. They reached a low-key luxurious car outside, a white SUV, and once he sat at the back, his assistant hurried to start the engine.

He didn't have to say anything for the assistant, now driver, to choose the appropriate direction.

"Did anything happen while I was away?"

"Nothing important, sir. But…"

The driver looked through the rearview mirror at his superior who was looking outside, taking in the sight of the day transitioning into the evening in the busy city, before continuing:

"There are rumors of Cynthia Harsh's failed engagement."
