Once his emotions had settled, Tang Yun Ze descended from the rooftop by the elevator. Just as he stepped out of the elevator, a figure collided into him.

His chest hurt from the impact and his gaze hardened with annoyance. He was about to reprimand the person, but upon recognizing who it was, his chastisement turned into concern: "Miss Ye, what happened to you?"

The one who ran into him was Ye Xue Ning, the heiress of Ye's. Her long black hair contrasted with her pale, tender skin. Her white, oval face was flushed and her eyes, in a daze, shimmered with tears.

Ye Xue Ning didn't even look at him and walked straight towards the elevator. However, she was stopped by Tang Yun Ze: "Miss Ye, if you are in any trouble, you can tell me. Maybe I can help."

Ye Xue Ning turned to look at him, her eyes brimming with more tears. Abruptly, she threw herself onto him and began to sob heavily.

Tang Yun Ze stood stiff, unknowing of where to rest his hands, they merely hovered in mid-air.
