We are loosing badly, like, there's no evidence again and I'm not sure mum's testimony would really give us an edge. After all, Winifred's lawyer could tell a lie that my mum is defending me and she doesn't want me to go to jail that's why she'd cover up and say I didn't shoot her.

I'm so damn frustrated about this whole thing!

I woke up early that morning and freshened up, did the usuals and I decided to skip breakfast.

"Where are you going Katie?" Mum asked me as I wanted to step out of the house

"Actually, I'm going to meet up with Massie I need to get my mind off the case you know?"

"Yeah sure, you go out. I know you're stressed about this so go have fun a little"
