Kapitel 33: Chapter 33:

I was frozen on my spot, my heart beating so fast that I couldn't pull away. I don't know for how long we stood like that until we heard a throat clearing, which made us jump apart. Mohammed! I looked away from his amused face and cleared my throat. How embarrassing is that?

"How are you feeling, Omar?" He asked, turning serious, which made me raise my head and meet his fixing gaze. 

What happened last night? Moreover, who brought me here? 

"I am fine, now.

I could always count on Mohammed to be there for me when I needed him. His support was unwavering, and he never let me down. I'll never forget the moment I saw his eyes well up with tears as he pulled me into a tight hug.

"Omar, you scared the shit out of me last night. For a moment, I thought I had lost you, the only person I can rely on in this life," he said, hugging him back and squeezing his shoulders tightly. It reminded me of my father's words.
