(SEOKJIN'S POV)
Namjoon woke up us early in the morning to start our training. I haven't finished my coffee and I already feel his hand intertwined with mine, pulling me off of the stool.
"Namjoon wait, let me finish it." He doesn't look at me and keeps walking towards the others.
"You'll be in charge of Hoseok and Jungkook, okay?" He ignores me completely. Time to say goodbye to my morning best friend drink.
"I'll do my best." I sigh, letting go of his grip. "But we can't do this without our books or Mrs Choi. Our powers aren't as easy as yours."
"It's not easy to be an angel." Jimin protests, his hair still messy. To be honest, we all are still in our pyjamas, our hair messy and our faces a bit puffy.
When Namjoon doesn't say anything else I know it's the end of the conversation. He leads us through the portal in silence. Everything goes black for a moment. The first thing I notice is the large field and the wet grass scent. The sky is grey and the cold breeze makes me goose bumps. Far away, different shades of green paint the mountains.
"Is this place real?" I ask.
"Humans may see us." Hoseok says, next to me.
Namjoon turns to look at us. We wait for him to do an explanation, but he only takes a deep breath, smiling. "Seokjin, Hoseok and Jungkook will be on the right side and the others on the left. Questions?"
Jimin drops his arm as soon as he raises it. "Yeah. What the hell is this place?"
"Our new training camp." Namjoon shrugs. "I think we'll be fine, it's bigger than the other one."
"Won't be any humans around?" Hoseok asks again.
"Don't worry about that." Namjoon smirks.
We all stare at Namjoon, startled. "Is this place even real?" I ask.
Namjoon have read all the papers my father had left, but he didn't let me read them and hide them somewhere in his room. Our room.
He doesn't say anything else and starts walking to the left, his head held high and his hands on each side of his waist. I bit my lower lip, breathing out heavily. He's being so mysterious about this, but I need my answers and I'm going to have them, wether he likes it or not.
"Hyung, come on." Jungkook says, behind me.
We shift to our fairy form and we fly not too high from the ground. Jungkook's black hair melts my heart every time. Young fairies have their natural colour hair, while the more advanced ones, like Hoseok and I, have the same colour hair as their powers. Although as long as I can remember, my hair has been always blue.
"What do we do? Practice what we already know?" Hoseok asks.
"How will be able to keep going without Mrs. Choi?" Jungkook asks, biting the inside of his cheek.
I sigh, "I don't know guys, for now do your best in every spell you know. I'm going to talk to Namjoon later, he still has some explanations to do."
(YOONGI'S POV)
We came back to our apartment after a few hours of flying, practicing and fighting with each other. My back slightly hurts thanks to all the weird moves I had to do to avoid Namjoon's attacks. Hoseok was right, I'm the most useless here, after all.
"You're not useless, Yoongi." Hoseok says.
I'm sitting on the wooden part of the bathtub as I watch Hoseok mix the dye. "Namjoon was more strict than the other days, that's all." He grabs lotion from one of the cabinets.
"Hey, what are you doing?" I say, as he put a little bit of the cream on his fingers.
"I need to put this on your hairlines, ears and neck, it will be easier to remove the dye on your skin later. Or do you want to have black spots on your face?" I shake my head. I know perfectly well Jimin will take advantage of it and make fun of me.
I lower my head and he starts putting some of it on my neck. I bit my bottom lip not letting my smile show. It tickles.
"Done. Now look at me."
He starts putting it on each side of my face. I giggle when he gets near my ears.
"Hey, stay still." He chuckles. "Hold the towel instead, it will drop if you don't stop moving." He pulls away and I put the towel properly on my shoulders.
"I'm almost done." He suddenly gets closer. I feel his fingers in my forehead. My eyes are in the same high as his parted lips. I lick mines staring at them, he has never been this close before. I look closely at his freckle on the upper lip.
"Done." He smiles at me, not moving at all. We look at each other in the eyes, I notice how his smile fades away. My heartbeat intensifies and as I look away, he walks towards the marble.
"You'll have to wait 30 minutes." He says, while he puts dye on a brush and then to my hair.
"I'll take a shower. I need one, anyway." I shrug.
"Don't move."
"Yeah, sir."
Between talks and Hoseok's complaints because, according to him, I move a lot, he finishes dyeing my hair. The strong smell hitting my lungs the entire time.
"How many minutes I have to be like this?" I say, looking myself in the mirror. My hair is pulled backwards. It looks like a cow kissed my head.
"30 minutes. Don't forget it if you don't want to end up bald." He chuckles.
"I won't."
"Mm-hmm."
(NAMJOON'S POV)
Seokjin follows me to my room, hugging me from behind and leaving quick pecks on my neck. Some days he's more clinging than usual and today is the day. I giggle, opening the door.
"Does my baby boy need pampering today?" I say, softly. I turn around and cup his cheeks.
"I'm cold. You could have told us." He pouts and I giggle.
"I'm sorry babe, I didn't know it either." I caress his cheeks and I give him a quick peck before opening my closet.
I grab two white matching sweatshirts with a little black heart up on the left side. "You can wear this one." I throw him the piece of clothing playfully. "I thought we can eat lunch in a restaurant today." I say, taking off my shirt.
"Sounds good." He says. "By the way, where were we this morning?"
"In a field." I put on the new one.
"I'm not blind, you know what I mean." He's looking at me with a frown.
"The less you know, the better."
Seokjin is the type of person who likes to know everything, but not this time. I need to protect him the best I can, if he starts wandering around, he will end up in trouble and I can't lose him again.
"I'm not a child. Why I can't know?" He crosses his arms.
"My love, it's better if you don't know it. Believe me, is better if you stay by my side. You'll be more protected this way."
"How am I going to be more protected if I don't know where I am? I also deserve to know, Namjoon." He takes a step back.
"I'm doing it for you, it's not that important, anyway. You only want to know because you know you can't."
"Your point?"
I get closer to him, slowly. "Come on, you know I'm doing it for yourself. We don't want you to be hurt again."
"We?"
"The boys and I."
He takes a deep breath, letting the air go from his nose. "Okay. But do they know?"
I shake my head. "Is better this way."
"You don't have to be in charge of everything, you know?" He puts his arms in my waist, pulling me closer. "I want to help you."
"And you'll. But, for now, let all of this in my hands." I place a kiss in his forget, pressing his arms slightly.
"What do you want to eat? You choose." I say
I change the topic. I don't want to upset him more. It's difficult for him to understand my point of view, he'll never understand how much I care for him. I'm aware of his preoccupations, but it's my duty to keep him safe. To keep my boyfriend safe.
