Kapitel 5: Chapter 5

Cersei Lannister walked up to the Stand with a lock. It was in the middle of the room.

I so wanted to ring a handbell and say 'Shame' all while she walked.

She was on the verge of crying, crocodile tears I'd imagine.

A guard was pushing her while her hands were chained. Cersei is stuck between a rock and a hard place. She can't use trial by combat. Jaime can't stand, and no other would want to help her; she will most definitely lose a regular trial.

Cersei stepped up. Robert asked sternly "Do you plead Innocent or guilty?" She answered instantly and confidently not like her teary self from only a few moments ago "Innocent"

I almost faced palmed from the idiocy.

" I call the first witness, Bran of House

Stark" Robert replied. Her crocodile tears became lighter as Bran spoke. "Well I saw, uh...." he spoke quietly and slowly. Robert spoke up, "Speak up, boy!"

"I saw the queen and Ser Jaime.....having some sort of physical altercation. Then Ser Jaime pushed me out of the window, and Steffon stopped me from falling." Bran let out a sigh of stress. Gasps from the crowd could be heard. Robert also sighed then closed his eyes and scrunched the bridge of his nose with his fingers. It was clear what he saw.

"Is that all boy?" Robert said. Bran nodded slowly. Bran was escorted away to his mother. "I call the second whiteness, Steffon ll Baratheon" Robert bellowed.

I walked up to the Stand and saw Cersei's pleading face, staring into her eyes. I drew out my steps. "Bran speaks true; he and I were climbing the tower of the first keep when we heard less than savory sounds. Jaime didn't notice me at first, not until after I jumped after Bran-" I needed a breath.

"-I took a leap of faith the grabbed onto Bran's ankles, luckily I grabbed a sturdy vine, the vine wasn't that sturdy and it slowly bent me and Bran down to the ground, I told bran to get someone, Jaime was yelling something, then he ran down the stairs with Cersei who started begging, Ned stark and his posse of warriors plus a kings guard then showed up-" another long monologue consumed my breath.

"-Jaime attempted to run away by I threw my short sword like a dagger into his leg, then the rest of Winterfell showed up or what felt like it." I was finally finished; it felt like a 1000-pound weight was lifted from my shoulders.

I walked back to my seat and listened to the gasps of the crowd. I practically melted into my seat.

Ned Stark was called next; I half listened to his rant; after him was the Kingsguard. After Ned's speech, I stopped listening. I felt rather sick.

I listened to Robert's verdict. His voice boomed with rage as he yelled, "I, Robert of House Baratheon, Find You, Cersei of House Lannister...Guilty!!!"

Who could've guessed not the 15 people who witnessed Jaime running away? Innocent people don't run.

She was a bad mom but a kind of good person to me, Jeoffry, Mycrella, and Tommen.

Oh well.

Now that all other Male heirs to Robert have been removed, I am going to be king. No challengers, expect for Renly and Stannis, oh and Edric storm but he's a bastard. Renly will be easy to deal with; I've got a plan; Stannis shouldn't be a problem because he's too honor-driven.

Cersei was dragged away in chains, screaming in tears. The event was quickly ended, in guess what, Gasps.

Gasp* Gasp* Gasp*

So predictable. I'm gonna tweak out. I really am.

Most of the people exited the hall, as did I. The Hound shadowed me. Quite literally, he was standing in my shadow.

I just walked around Winterfell aimlessly, with no purpose or point. As the day waned into the night, I made it to the god's wood, 3 acres of woodland all shoved behind high curtain walls.

"Sandor, leave me, I wish to walk here alone." he gave a small agreeing grunt, then walked away. Finally some alone time. I gave a small nod, then did a rich man's walk through the woodland. At first, I followed a path, unintentionally caused by people walking around.

They all led to the heart tree, a great big old weirwood tree. It was early night, probably 8:30-9:00.

I pulled up my green hood; it blended into my forest surroundings. I climbed up the steep curtain walls of the Godswood. I walked confidently on top of the wall; the passing guards didn't want to intervene.

They could tell I knew what I was doing. My hands were firmly placed on my short sword, covering the hilt. I didn't need a guard recognizing my sword, especially with what I was going to do.

It would be too dark to see what I would be doing. There was a slight turn in the wall of Winterfell, the reason for this turn was a tower attached directly to the wall.

I climbed up it carefully; my hands had a death grip on the protruding stones. I made it to the other side of the tower. I pushed off with all of my limbs.

I turned mid air, I was as dexterous as a cat. I repeated my process making it onto one of the large buildings. I climbed upwards until I made it to a window.

If my inner map was right this should be the Measter's chamber. I needed a moment to think. Do I kill him or keep him alive?

I peeked my head up, the room was dim. Only a small candle lit in the corner gave a small gleaming. I slowly opened the window and hopped in. Jaime Lannister was sitting in a feather bed along the wall. He was drooling, most definitely drugged on the milk of the poppy and some other drugs.

He's the greatest warrior in Westeros; even injured like he is, he could still strangle an old man and kill a few guards. I peeked in the keyhole of the Measter personal room.

He was asleep, I slowly prayed his door open. I sneaked over to the bedside of Measter Luwin. I stood up and stared him down.
