Kapitel 27: CHAPTER-27
As Alex was controlling just a small number of metals it took him a while to travel around the maze-like path filled with heavy weapons ranging from kinetic to laser weapons and all the paths had doorways for every 20 meters away. Alex was going giddy with excitement looking at all the metal surrounding Nanites, for him the metal now looks more beautiful than any girl he ever saw and would have drooled if he wasn't looking for the signals coming from the Module-77 AFK.
"By the way of things, they could not have known the use of Nanites or else they would never build a metal castle surrounding them" Alex muttered to himself and chuckled at this situation. They must have thought it must be some kind of alien tech and built a safe castle surrounding it, and it must be huge in size and weight for them to not able to transfer the Nanites and had to build this huge organization in this Iceland.
AS Alex was lost in thoughts Nanites passed through a door and appeared in a huge open space with bright lights. The place was shaped like a dome and was very wide and seemed to have reached at least 100 meters in height. The most noticeable thing was a silvery oval metal structure sitting in the middle of the dome reaching ten meters height and two meters wide with a shiny appearance that looked like a polished mirror. Surrounding it were platforms built with various apparatus hanging above seemingly trying to find the secrets of the structure.
On the platforms were people that looked like scientists and were constantly moving around and seemed to be in a hurry. Alex looked at the metal structure and the beckoning was confirmed to be coming from the huge oval thing as the Nanites he was controlling seemed to want to go and join with them and make them a part of themselves.
Alex made the Nanites close in and was able to hear the voices of the scientists. An old man who seemed to be in his sixties with white hair and drooping eyes spoke in the microphone. "Ready for the test-77." As he spoke in the microphone a section of the dome opened revealing a dish-like thing, it moved from the opening and closed on towards the oval structure.
Alex stopped the Nanites and watched on curiously as to what kind of experiment they were going to perform. After the dish reached a certain distance away from the structure or Module it stopped.
The old scientist nodded to the people around him and spoke in the microphone.
"Start test-77.
Test name: Forced Electric conduction.
Record parameters."
As he spoke everyone got busy and various information travelled across screens and the dish like device powered on and the dish slowly turned into a vertical angle of 60 degrees and the white bright lights turned into emergency red lights and a heavy atmosphere fell on the surroundings.
"Power level increase to 50%. !0% higher than previous starting test. Start the electric conduction and stop it in 5 seconds". The dish like device which is an electric discharger buzzed as it came to life and threads of electric current flashed on the tip of the dish and in 10 seconds the currents increased to such high level that the entire tip started glowing in light orange color. Then with a zapping sound magnified by 100 times, the dish released the huge electric energy it was collecting onto the surface of the oval structure.
The researchers noticed with wide eyes as the oval structure got consumed by the electric flashes and after five seconds the flow of current stopped conducting out from the dish. Then one of the apparatuses from surroundings that looked to be a probe moved forward towards the charged oval structure and the probe touched the structure.
In the huge screen Infront of the old researcher there was electric current data chart showing, after the probe touched the oval shape the values in the screen increased by a huge margine reaching up to millions of watts, but instantly went down to 0 indicating that no electric charge is present in the structure.
Sigh...
As they saw the numbers going down to 0 everyone sighed and shook their heads, and they seemed to know the end result would be the same.
"What the heck is that thing, even will the latest atomoscope we weren't able to we weren't able to find out the molecular structure of this metal. No lasers worked, energy conduction worked, kinetic bombardment worked, nothing is working on it. Are we humans really that backward compared to the civilization that made this thing?" The head researcher sighed and muttered as he looked at the oval structure.
"Don't worry Mr. Vidit, one day we will be able to crack the secrets of this thing and we will be the forefront in the evolution of earth." Consoled another old man by his side.
"I know Sanyam, I have faith in Humanities prowess, one day we will crack the secrets behind..." just as Vidit was speaking, the metallic oval structure started bubbling and expanding and contracting like it was made of rubber and not metal. Then under the shocked stares of everyone it started disappearing and dissolved into the floor and in just a flash it disappeared completely from their view.
