Please let me know if you see any errors or comments on your thoughts.

You could also give me some stones!

So, I'll ask one last time. Who should be the person that asked to collab? Comment with the most likes will be chosen.

Also, sorry for not posting a chapter yesterday. I was too tired from work.

I'll make it up with two chapters tomorrow.

"I'm not sure if I should reply or not." Emil thought aloud as he looked at the random DM he got on Rocket. It was an invitation to collab with a streamer with over a hundred times his follower count.

Usually, this kind of thing wouldn't be possible, but he had to admit that this wasn't even the 10th impossible thing to happen to him.

Whether that was a bad thing or a good thing, only he would know.

"Hm, I think you should do it." Mona chimed in.

"The event is two weeks away, so you have time to get more streams under your belt." She said, patting his head like a child.

"Stoop." He groaned, moving his head away from her hand. "Don't do that." If it were anyone else, he wouldn't have minded, but Mona has done everything to get a rise out of him.

Perhaps, it would be better if he didn't react, but then she would take that as a challenge.

"Aw~" Mona pouted her lips as she started to pull his cheeks like a dotting grandma, twisting his cheeks a little. "But you're so cute, though?~."

Emil frowned, smacking her hand away, "..Is there a time when you won't tease me?"

"Oh, yes, there is." Her lips curved into a devilish smile. "When you sleep."

"Yeah...that's what I thought." He sighed, plopping onto the sofa as he continued to check the messages on his phone.

[Liberate - 2,503]

[Rocket - 2,939]

His follower count has increased since yesterday, and it seems like he'll reach past the 10k mark in a matter of days if he maintains his content output. On his next stream, he'll have donations open, and finally, he will be able to earn exp to level up.

Several of his stats have increased simply by working out and circulating his qi a few times a day. He was informed that doing repeated tasks could increase his stats. However, there won't be any significant changes until he actually levels up.

One thing is for sure, though, Emil has lost a bit of weight, as he noticed by how his clothes started to fit him.

It was a great feeling to see progress, but still, he was overweight, which meant he had a lot of work to do.

"Ok, I'm going to try again." He suddenly stated as he threw his phone back to Mona.

"Are you sure?" Mona asked, catching the phone. Despite his one sentence, she knew what he would attempt, and honestly, she didn't see it going too well.

"Last time, you couldn't even move it. What makes you think you can do it now?"

Emil started to stretch, "It's been a few days since then. I want to see if anything has changed."

If one were present three days ago, they would know he was talking about one particular item he had won from the lottery box.

[Heavy Sword]

Although "sword" was in the name, it was more of a giant club as there was no sharp edge whatsoever.

The sword was a dull grey color with a slightly worn handle that made it look like it had been used for quite some time. Its weight was immense, so much so that the first time Emil pulled it out of his ring, he was almost flattened by it.

Luckily he lived on the bottom floor of his apartment complex.

Otherwise, the sword probably would have fallen right through the floor. He wondered what it was made out of, but that curiosity would need to wait until he was strong enough to lift it.

He didn't want any accidents.

Well...any more accidents.

There was already a crater in his bedroom that he covered with a rug.

He'll have to find some way to fix that later.

"I'm not even sure why you are still trying now. It's still too heavy for you." Mona stated, shaking her head.

"You just don't understand." Emil narrowed his eyes. "It's a man's romance."

"A man's...romance?" Mona repeated with a wry smile.

"What man doesn't want to look badass carrying a greatsword?! If they don't, then are they really a man?!" He shouted, puffing his chest out a little.

"...You're really getting out of character." Mona frowned, rolling her eyes. "I'm going back."

*Poof*

And just like that, she disappeared into a cloud of smoke, leaving his phone on the sofa.

"Well...maybe I am being a bit too hasty."

("You think? You'll have better luck looking at the manual.")

Faded Martial Arts Manual #5

Info: A torn martial arts manual that also faded over time. Studying it may bring surprising results.

"I tried reading it, but I couldn't understand anything." Emil sighed as he pulled out the manual from his ring. It wasn't anything special; the darn thing was barely holding itself together.

A lot of the pages were either torn or faded, making them impossible to comprehend. With his limited ability, he knew something was unusual about the book, but he was nowhere close to finding out why.

"Maybe I'll go get some fresh air and come back to this." He sighed, putting the book back into his ring.

(A/N: What martial arts do you think the book should have?)

Emil hadn't been on a walk in a long time, but suddenly he felt up to it. After taking a quick shower and putting on his nicer pair of clothes, he left his apartment.

His city wasn't anything extraordinary. It was on the smaller side compared to most.

Nothing ever interesting happens in the city.

At least, according to him, anyways.

The city was relatively calm, so walking down the street was rather peaceful, with little to no people around.

It was probably better to call it a town, but he didn't make the rules

Emil decided he was going to make his way to the city park as it should still be nice this time during the summer.

'I barely even remember where the park is...I've only ever gone to work and then back home. Luckily it was a convenience store. Otherwise, I probably would have starved myself.' Emil randomly thought as he walked down a sidewalk.

After several minutes of walking, he was nearing a crosswalk. However, as he approached, he noticed something or someone wasn't paying attention.

"Hey—"

*Vrooom!*

He tried to get their attention, but they were already in the path of a speeding white truck with black-tinted windows.

It was strange, though.

Emil was definitely not a hero. He wasn't one to stick his neck out for someone he didn't know. His principle was to always look out for himself first, and yet...here he was, dashing toward the danger.

'Stupid! Stupid! Stupid! Stupid!' He repeated those words as his feet pushed off the ground in quick succession. If one saw him run, one would have seen someone move faster than even the top Olympic sprinters.

As he neared his target, Emil opened his arms and leaped forward with all his strength, leaving tiny hairline cracks in the concrete.

*Screeech!*

Seconds before the impact, the truck driver slammed on their brakes, but it was too late to slow down.

*Bam!*

The impact was loud, alerting a few people that were nearby. They expected to see a gruesome scene, but as they neared, they noticed there wasn't an accident.

"Phew..."

It was because Emil managed to narrowly avoid the truck with a warm body held tightly in his arms.

He couldn't control his speed, so he ended up taking a tumble and crashing into a nearby wall with a loud 'thud.'

"Well...that was close."

("And stupid.)

"Yeah..." He groaned as he slowly stood up, dusting himself off. "I've been doing th—"

Unexpectedly, Emil was interrupted by something warm and wet against his cheek.

It was a tongue.

"Bark!"

From a dog.

("You should have let the dog die.")

'And let him reincarnate?! No way! How heartless can you be?!' He shouted in his head as the more caring citizens checked on him.

("You don't actually believe that nonsense do you?")

Emil shrugged, 'At this point, I'd believe anything.'

"Hey, did anyone see where that truck went?" One of the citizens asked.

"You know, I think I saw that truck run someone over just last week. I don't know how they are still on the road." Another citizen said.
