Kapitel 27: Twin Love

“You aren’t as tired tonight, are you, pickle?” Caroline asked as she unzipped my blue plaid dress, getting me ready for our bath.

“No, Mummy…I feel so much better today.” I replied, honestly. In part, I was quite sure that was the strong drugs from the hospital working their way out of my system, but it was also about making some progress. I did not have any real answers, but I had some things to do, and I had achieved a lot since Caroline brought me home from the hospital on the Friday. I had just a little hope, I suppose, and hope was energising and rejuvenating in equal measure.

“Good…but we are still going to take things easier this week…and I know that you always get frustrated when I mollycoddle you…but I don’t want any more episodes…okay?”

“I won’t get frustrated, Mummy…I promise…as long as Felicity comes tomorrow…and I can go to Auntie Sheila’s on Wednesday…and we can all go to see the Dream Stone one day next week, after Easter, Mummy?”
