Kapitel 18: Best friend is better than a Boyfriend
I arrived to the class room happily to thanks Lee. But he was not there.
"May be I'm early today ! " I muttered to myself and sit and unpack my stuff. I was so excited to see him and thank him for his kind heart, So I stare at the class entrance and waited for him.
But finally the bell rang ! He didn't came yet.
"Why is he didn't came yet ?
Even such a special day ??
Ugh, actually he is so annoying one !!!!" I muttered to myself with a anger mixed sorrowful mood.
"Mmm...are you waiting for Lee?" I heard a deep voice nearly me and I was so shocked by seen Yoo Joon next to me.
"Ahh...it's you !" I said with a relief. But still I'm scared by his sudden existence.
"Oh I'm really sorry, I didn't try to startle you " he said while presenting his marvelous sweet smile towards me.
Ohh...it's the first time I saw his sweet smile such a closer. I don't hesitate to say that I was really ,really fallen for it again. I don't know Why but however when I see his glorious smile I forget everything that happened in the past.
"Hey, Ji yoo ! Are you ok ? " I awake from my daydreaming by his manly voice.
"Yeah..yeah. I'm already fine " I reply back with a silly smile.
"Haha...your smile is so cute !" suddenly he gave me a compliment .Oh my god ! I felt so uncomfortable to sit next to him at that time. I don't know why but I feel a guilty about my feelings.
"By the way, I heard that you're from Busan. Am I right?" he break the silence between us and asked on me curiously .
"Dae " I gave him a short answer to avoid his eye contact with me.
"Wow...me too from Busan ! I'm from Chenon boy's high , I'm sure that you know it "his expression seems so surprised .
'Yes, I know it and I know you very well. How can I forget you ' I thought to tell it for him at that time, but I just reply to him as a stranger ,
"Yeah , I'm from Chenon gir's high , It's glad to meet you !"
"Ohh awesome ! Then we are neighbors already. So can we be best friends ?" he strech his hand towards me happily. Can you feel how uncomfortable I'm, at this time?
My high school Crush is finally asking to be his bestie !
Oh no....I'm really messed up. I don't know What to do , I can't neglect him either .How will I neglect him when he with his Charming smile ?
So finally I shake his hand and agree to become good friends .But still I was awkward to stay near him. I don't know why, When he is near to me, I just feel a strange feeling and my face turn to red.
"Oh your Cousin seems absent today, Isn't it ?" he look at the entrance and said to me.
"Yeah,I also looking for him .Why he is absent today?" I reply back and look back at the entrance .
"Ok, I should go now ,see you soon" he suddenly stood up because of Miss Park.
"Ahh.. Yoo Joon you can change your seat for today. Lee told me that he is absent , So Ji yoo needs a partner for today's lesson .Can you ? " Miss Park ask from him.
"Aaa...yeah sure Miss Park !" he look at me before replying to Miss Park .Truly I don't like her idea, but I can't disagree to it and hurt him either .So I just nodded .
After the lesson start I was so embarrassed and uncomfortable. I secretly look at his charms ,he is still handsome as in School days. When I was in School days I wish to sit next to him, but I didn't have any guts for it. However today we are deskmates as well as classmates. And most wonderful thing is...now we are Best Friends !!!!
So Why am I embarrassed and uncomfortable now ??
Yesss...no need to be an introvert anymore, I just let it to go as my life wish. Finally I thought .
"Hey Ji yoo, it's interval.
Let's go to the Cafe together ,Kaja !" Yoo Joon strech his hand towards me after mean while.
'Is he asking me to hold his hand ?'I questioned from myself confusingly.
"Come on Chingu, What you waiting for?" he said again while looking on me. After hearing the word 'Chingu' I got a little relief.
I'm just a friend of him, so why am I hesitating ,
I stood up and hold his hand with a slight smile. But my heart pounds so fast at that time. He gave his usual charming smile and it comfort my restless mind a little .I look at his sparkling eyes again, they're so thoughtful and manly.
"OMG! it's being late, let's hurry " he drags my hand and we ran towards the Cafe.
'Wowww...'my mind says to me. It's a wonderful moment ,just like a movie scene , I remind the drama Song 'Something in your eyes' at that time.
We ate and learn together ,it's so nice and happy to be as it. I thought earlier , that he is just a silent character. But truly he is so funny and cheesy. However time flies and the classes ended.
I feel so sad than the other days, I don't know the real reason .May be 'the new best friend' is my reason. So I start to walk on the college street so lonely .It was a bit rainy day so it nicely suits for my gloomy mood.
I get on a bus and sit next to a rainy shutter. I look at the raindrops falling through the shutter carefully with a blank mind. That unwanted silence at the bus hurts me a lot. But suddenly I heard,
"Hey, are you going this way too?" It's Yoo Joon's voice again. Firstly I thought that because of my imagines, but really he was there !
He is next to me !!!!
"Ohhh..you? " I look at him with a surprised face.
"Yeah...my dormitory is on this way. It seems yours also same." he asked on me while removing his cap. His hair get messed up at that instance ,
'Salma !!!!
He is so cool with that way too !' my heart taps on me and whispered to my mind.
'Hey just stop it. He is my best friend now !' my mind reply to the heart immediately .So I calm down.
"Yes, I'm on 3rd street too " I just answer him while ignoring direct contact with him and look out.
"Aaa...it's awesome ,So I can walk you for your place everyday" he chuckles to me.
'W-H-A-T ?
Whaaaaaat did he mean ??
Why he wants to walk me at every day ????'
Ahhh...I feel so confused .I look back him with a questioned mind.
"Ahh..as a best friend ,I should support to you. Isn't it ?"he reply back ,because it seems he also get my shocked hint.
"Haha...yes ,you should ! "I smiles to him fakely.
"By the way, Aren't you feel gloomy at this climate ? I always hurt this wetty climate." he ask while rubbing on the glass shutter.
"Mmm....yes, but I love the cold weather and rainy days because I like to draw crazy things on wetty glasses like this" I drew few cartoon character on it and said.
"Oh it's Cute ! I didn't try it before but it seems funny. Shall I draw one too ?" he ask with a adorable smile. I nodded to him and be backward , he drew a funny anime character there.
"Haha... it's nice." I chuckles to him while seen his bad drawing .
"Haha...really ? but it seems as a nursery drawing " his deep voice become so sweet when he is chuckling with rolled eyes.
"Yes, you're really bad at drawing " I chuckles back to him.
"Do you know ,What will I do on rainy days like today? "he questioned me.
"Mmm...no, What is it?" I reply curiously, to know this adorable boy's habbits.
"Wait " he open his backpack and took something out from it.
"Here you go ..." he plug one hand-free on my ear.
'What is he doing ?' I was just shock by his sudden reaction.
Then he plugs the other,
"Let's listen to a warm music at this gloomy weather !" he look at me and said.
'Ouuuh...that look ! it sent a strong shock through my spine and I felt a weirdness .I know I'm trying for not fall for him again, but I should tell this,
'He is killy handsome !'
He close his eyes and headed to the seat and started to listen the music. So I also look out through the rainy shutter while stepping to my own imaginary world with his warm music.
