Lilith's grin only widened, shadows swirling around her like a dark storm as she prepared herself for the battle.
The ground trembled under her feet, the air thick with tension as she faced off against Maris, the Saint. The faint remnants of Iris's heart, still cradled in the shadows beside her, pulsed softly, but Lilith paid it no mind. All her focus was on Maris.
Maris's gaze was unflinching, emotionless, and her body glowed with an ethereal light. She lifted one hand, and the space around her shimmered with power. Then, without a word, she moved.
The world seemed to blur. One moment Maris was standing across from Lilith, and the next, she was right beside her, the wind from her sheer speed sending shockwaves through the area. Maris's fist, radiant with divine energy, shot out towards Lilith's chest, intent on ending the Dark Fairy Queen's life in one decisive blow.
Hey there!
I wanted to let you in on something—I’ve got two potential endings for the novel:
1. Option One: After the final battle, boom, novel ends. Curtain call, thank you, and good night.
2. Option Two: After the final battle, the story keeps rolling to explore some of the loose threads and hints I've already sprinkled throughout.
I’m not dragging things out or throwing in random plot twists. These are things already hinted at earlier, so it would just be continuing that momentum.
So here’s where you come in—what do you think? Which ending would you prefer? If you go with Option One, we wrap up the novel this month. If you go with Option Two, we’ll have a little more fun, and the novel will probably finish next month.
Let me know!
