The Holy Phoenix stood silently amidst the sea of dead humans, their bodies crumpled to the ground in heaps. Her face was calm, her golden eyes shining with a dim light as she moved, almost like a shadow, between the crowds of terrified people. With every flick of her wrist, a life was snuffed out, the victims falling without so much as a gasp. It was swift, merciless, and utterly painless—exactly as the Holy Phoenix intended. She wasn't doing this out of cruelty; no, every death was a means to an end. She was determined to learn the name of the killer who took the life of the Heavenly Phoenix, and she would do whatever it took to reach that truth.
Hey there!
I wanted to let you in on something—I’ve got two potential endings for the novel:
1. Option One: After the final battle, boom, novel ends. Curtain call, thank you, and good night.
2. Option Two: After the final battle, the story keeps rolling to explore some of the loose threads and hints I've already sprinkled throughout.
I’m not dragging things out or throwing in random plot twists. These are things already hinted at earlier, so it would just be continuing that momentum.
So here’s where you come in—what do you think? Which ending would you prefer? If you go with Option One, we wrap up the novel this month. If you go with Option Two, we’ll have a little more fun, and the novel will probably finish next month.
Let me know!
