Kapitel 6: Chapter 6
"Elder Setsuna, please be sure to attend tomorrow's meeting with Lord Fugaku. Then, after arriving at the venue, ask the Hokage to have all the ninja clan leaders of Konoha to be present as witnesses."
"Hmm... What if Sarutobi refuses?"
Kayn's eyes gleamed, and he said confidently.
"In order to paralyze us, he won't refuse. He might even be glad that we asked for that to happen ourselves. It will surely happen as long as we are adamant about it."
Uchiha Setsuna nodded, motioning for Kayn to continue.
"After all the ninja clan leaders have arrived at the scene," Kayn paused for a second and showed a disgusted expression.
"Ask Shimura Danzo to remove the bandages wrapped around his right eye and arm."
Uchiha Setsuna's heart skipped a beat and his face quickly contorted in anger upon hearing this.
Kayn didn't even need to explain what he meant, he easily understood everything immediately. "Is that truly the case?"
Kayn nodded and said confidently: "Yes, his right eye has been replaced with Shisui's eye!"
Shimura Danzo, to cover up the Sharingan and Hashirama cells on his body, has used bandages to wrap his head and arms. He also uses a lot of open-ended excuses to avoid suspicion.
"However, Danzo will not agree to this."
Kayn was not surprised: "Of course, he won't agree."
As long as Danzo is not mentally ill, he will never agree to this request. For him, his right eye and right arm cannot be seen in the light no matter what.
In this world, secret teachings and bloodlines are very important. These are the foundations on which the ninja clan relies for survival.
Coveting another clan's secret teachings and bloodline is equivalent to declaring war on that clan openly, and the fight will not end until one is dead.
Even Danzo Shimura would not be able to explain himself. Because this behavior touches the bottom line of all ninja clans itself!
"You just need to tell at the meeting that he killed Uchiha Shisui and stole our Sharingan. Whether he agrees or not, it will arouse suspicion from other ninja clans."
Kayn doesn't even need to finish his statement. Setsuna already understood what this action foretold. "This will buy our clan more time to respond."
Once the seeds of doubt are planted, they will take root and sprout.
This is the first line of insurance.
If the Uchiha clan was exterminated immediately, other ninja clans would inevitably think of many bad things.
As long as Sarutobi Hiruzen does not go bat sh*t crazy, he is very likely to stop Danzo's actions temporarily and probably tell him to focus on collecting/arranging real and fake evidence against the Uchihas first before proceeding.
Unfortunately for them, this is not something that can be accomplished in a day or two.
In this way, the night of genocide can be delayed.
That alone is already enough for Kayne's goals to be achieved.
He would delay this period of time not to just gain experience but to also develop secretly...
Uchiha Setsuna thought about what Kayne said, weighing the pros and cons.
When people get older, the accumulation of time makes their experience richer than when they were young, and when faced with choices, they will think a lot.
So Kayn decided to make one last push.
"Elder Setsuna, our clan has no way out either way. Shimura Danzo and Sarutobi Hiruzen are in the same boat. If we offend them, the consequences will not be any worse. If we don't offend them, our clan will lose our last chance!"
Uchiha Setsuna laughed at himself, he prided himself on being decisive when it came to making decisions. He never thought that when the time when it truly mattered, he would need a kid to remind him.
"Okay, I'll take a chance with you!" Uchiha Setsuna's eyes were as sharp as a knife. "If things develop as you expected, I will unconditionally support all your actions in the future!"
'It's finally done!!' Kayn suppressed his excitement, pushed a palm-sized recording device in front of Setsuna, and said...
"Please rest assured, Elder. I will not joke in regards to the safety of the clan or my own life."
"Hmm... whether that is true or not, we will know tomorrow."
Uchiha Setsuna looked down at the recording device on the table and asked in confusion: "What is this?"
"A tape recorder is a device that can record sound."
Kayn demonstrated how to operate it to Setsuna and said. "Elder Setsuna, please use it to record the live conversation tomorrow. We might need it for our next courses of action."
Setsuna fiddled with it himself and put the equipment away.
"Also, I need to go to the police building tomorrow to look up some information, and I need permission."
Setsuna was decisive. So without hesitation, he said "I'll instruct Kamakura to go and cooperate with you."
Kayn suppressed his excitement and thanked him calmly, "Thank you, Elder Setsuna, for your trust."
Uchiha Setsuna shook his head and said, "Everything is for the clan."
Hearing this, Kayn then stood up and nodded "Indeed, everything is for the clan!"
The two had talked for a long time. The entire length of their conversation is not short.
So with Uchiha Setsuna having told everything that needed to be said already, he quickly instructed Kayn to go home in the meantime.
Which is an order that Kayn gladly followed.
He quickly returned home and lay on the sofa, silently thinking whether he missed or forgot something to include in his conversation with Elder Setsuna.
After reviewing it and making sure that he surely got everything, he finally relaxed.
As soon as his body relaxed, fatigue quickly came over.
After a quick wash, for some reason, he summoned a shadow clone and then ordered it to sleep on the bed.
After that, he crawled under that very same bed, made himself somewhat comfortable, and then over time, fell into a deep sleep.
The next morning, Kayne emerged from under the bed in high spirits.
???
But the first thing he noticed was his missing clone paired with a tiny hole on the foam of the bed.
!!!
Stunned for a moment, his eyes became fierce.
It seems that he's indeed correct to not let himself sleep comfortably last night. And that before he could do that, he had to finish this situation first.
So armed with a new sense of motivation, he quickly prepared for the current day.
Before leaving, he left a shadow clone at home to continue working on his acting and voice skills.
These two skills are crucial and related to his subsequent plans.
After going out for breakfast, Kayn headed for the Police Department building.
Having only one layer of insurance is not reliable.
Who knows, being f*cked in the head is not a foreign word for someone who's named Sarutobi Hiruzen and Shimura Danzo. For the sake of his own life, he has to add another insurance.
Kamakura, Elder Setsuna's butler, was already waiting at the agreed location early.
But, the one who came was only a shadow clone. The real body most likely followed Elder Setsuna at the meeting today.
Well, shadow clones or real bodies don't matter, as long as they can get the job done.
Since the Nine-Tails Incident, the Uchiha clan was forcibly relocated to the outskirts of the village.
Far away from Konoha's main community, this is one of the reasons why the Uchiha were easily destroyed.
Walking into the police building, everyone looked very tense.
During this period, there were meetings every day, and the clan members were restless and no one could calm down and do jobs properly.
However, with Kamakura leading the way and with a token in his hand, Kayn passed through everything and easily entered the data room.
The filing cabinets inside were filled with all kinds of information.
"Kayn, can you explain to me, what are you here to verify?"
Kayn smiled and said, "I'm looking for someone, a carpenter."
"Carpenter?" Kamakura asked in surprise.
"Yes, he is very important." With strangers around him, Kayn did not say much.
After that, he simply turned his head and said politely to the data administrator.
"Please help me find the registration information of people entering and leaving the country in the past year."
