Kapitel 133: Chapter 133: Colt's Version of the Will of Fire

The scene fell into an eerie silence.
Obito never expected to hear the names of such a character from the previous era and from the mouth of a thirteen-year-old boy at that.
Obito was certainly foolish, showing his hand so easily by claiming he was Madara when he had no basic knowledge of the guy.
Well, one can't blame him.
When he was in Konoha, Obito was a scatterbrain who couldn't remember anything.
And under Madara's tutelage, he didn't receive much specific knowledge or culture, only techniques of how to fight.
Obito quickly realized that Colt was taking advantage of him.
"Kid…"
"While I'm not the real Madara, there's nothing wrong in calling myself as that because I have inherited his will in this current age. I am this generation's Madara!"
Colt lowered his head contemplatively.
"Then what's wrong in calling myself this generation's father of Madara?"
Then as soon as he finished talking, he raised his head at lightning speed, his eyes transforming into the Mangekyō Sharingan.
"I am your father!"
Obito, caught off guard, fell into the Genjutsu Colt had released.
"Father..."
He fell into a Genjutsu where he thought he was seeing his own father.
In a flash, Colt appeared at Obito's side, a [Rasengan] in hand, and slammed it down.
Boom!
The attack tore through Obito's torso, but at the last moment, he awoke from the illusion and activated [Kamui].
Colt's body passed directly through Obito's phantom form.
A murderous glint flashed in Obito's eyes.
Since Colt was so uncooperative, he'd have to kill him!
As Colt's back was completely exposed, Obito's palm suddenly erupted with countless wooden thorns.
"[Wood Style: Cutting Technique]!"
Swish!
Using the [Flying Thunder God] again, Colt returned to his original position.
"Tsk, space-time abilities are really troublesome."
He pouted helplessly.
Obito's life-saving ability was comparable to Orochimaru's.
Usually, Colt used space-time ninjutsu to bully the others, but today he was on the receiving end.

Obito took a final look at Colt before his body slowly merged with nature.

Even so, Colt would be a formidable enemy in the future, and they'd need to find a way to deal with him.
Watching Obito and Zetsu flee one after another, Colt didn't try to stop them.
One wasn't in his real body, and the other had space-time abilities, so trying to stop them would be pointless.
This time, he had just come out to greet Obito and see if he could deal with him while he was careless. Too bad he came up just short.
Shaking his head, Colt vanished instantly.
Only a broken tree remained, evidence of the battle that had taken place.
The next day, Colt didn't mention what had happened the night before and came to the command tent as usual.
Before Killer Bee appeared, his task was only to wait and treat the wounded.
The only difference today was that it didn't take long for a blood-covered Hyuga ninja to burst in.
"Cloud shinobi have rallied and launched an attack. The Eight-Tails has appeared."
With those few words, he exhausted all his strength and fell unconscious.
Colt rushed to his side, pouring all his energy into the [Healing Technique].
Akimichi Chōza and Kakashi looked solemn but not overly nervous.
Both were veterans of the battlefield, so this was nothing new.
However, their eyes were fixed on Colt.
In terms of strength, he was the only ninja who could defend against the Eight-Tails Jinchūriki, and in terms of rank, he was the deputy commander.
"Gather all the troops" Colt ordered calmly.
After spending a few minutes saving the Hyuga ninja from immediate danger, he stepped outside the tent.
By this point, the hundreds of Konoha shinobi from this faction had assembled.
"Colt, you should say a few words to boost their morale," Kakashi reminded him in a low voice.
Colt nodded slightly, his gaze meeting everyone's. Their eyes were filled with respect and admiration. Over the past few days, although Colt hadn't killed any enemies, he had snatched countless lives back from the Shinigami.
As long as he was there, all the ninjas there felt they had the most solid backing.
"Someone once explained to me what a ninja is,"
Colt began softly, his voice carrying to everyone's ears.
"He said that a ninja is someone who can endure, and the important thing for them is the perseverance to never give up!"
Many people's eyes lit up, thinking this was a good explanation.
But Colt shook his head slightly.
"I told him, that's your perspective of what a ninja is, not mine."
Kakashi pondered thoughtfully, already guessing who this person was.
However, he was also curious about Colt's perspective on what a ninja truly was.
Under the gaze of hundreds, Colt slowly expressed his understanding of a ninja.
"A true ninja uses strength to make the others endure all their actions. If they don't accept it, then you beat them! Even if there's great dissatisfaction from that, they still have to endure it silently!"
Many Konoha shinobi thought.
"What the hell? Can it be explained that way?"
Colt continued.
"What is the Will of Fire?"
Everyone shook their heads, no longer daring to guess randomly.
"Where the leaves dance, the fire burns eternal."
"Now the Cloud shinobi invaded the borders of our Land of Fire, which is taking us as pushovers!"
"At this moment, my will is to defend our village, defend our country, and defend our people!"
"And my will… is the Will of Fire!"
Colt shouted.
"Yeah!"
"YEAH!!!"
Hundreds of voices shouted in unison.
Although Colt's Will of Fire sounded different, it felt exhilarating!
(E/N: Okay, this previous part was outrageous, to be honest. I fixed it to what it is now with great pain in the ass, but it was basically:
The will of fire is my will, and my will is to kill. Since I'm strong, you'll listen to me because that is what a ninja is. lol)
"Come with me!"
Seeing that he had fully roused their spirits, Colt smiled with satisfaction, waved his hand, and rushed out of the camp with hundreds of ninjas in tow.
Chōza looked at Kakashi strangely.
"Is that how you taught Colt?"
Kakashi's exposed right eye revealed his bewilderment as he numbly replied.
"I'm the Jōnin instructor. I'm not responsible for theoretical knowledge."
Chōza felt a pain in his heart and had an urge to run home immediately to ask Chōji if the ninja academy also taught him that way.
The Cloud shinobis, led by Darui and Killer Bee, also quickly approached Konoha's camp.
Ever since he realized that Konoha couldn't be beaten in a war of attrition, Darui had made the decisive choice to launch an all-out attack.
With Killer Bee as the perfect Jinchūriki, he believed the Cloud would emerge victorious!
Finally, on a vast desert between the two village strongholds, Konoha's ninjas and the Cloud shinobis met face to face.
