Gray woke up. He caught his breath.

Dr. Vantari was watching him from outside his cell. "Remember anything?"

Gray grit his teeth. "What did you people do to me?!"

"Nothing. Nothing at all. The Dragon Pearl is a part of you. Naturally, you'll eventually regain your memories."

"What are you trying to say?! My dreams are supposed to be old memories?!"

"Yes. Precisely." Vantari lowered himself to Gray's eye level. He sternly gazed into his eyes. "If you're regaining your memories, then you should tell me."

Gray looked at the floor. "No… I still don't remember anything. It was just a bad dream."

Vantari stood up. "I see. Okay." He walked away.

"Bell…" Gray thought to himself. "What should I do?"

Vantari opened up a metal door and entered a white hallway. He looked to his left. Gio was walking towards him.

"Gio, you two-timing bastard. What're you doin' here?"

"Work. What about you? Aren't you a teacher?"
