Axilla, who had finished listening to Venantius, lay down on the bed, her eyes staring blankly at the ceiling. It was hard to put two and two together, like how Lady Hash was her birth mother, and how she didn't realize it all this time. And most importantly, why the woman had abandoned her.

The girl tossed herself on the bed. At this point, she wanted to be with Cortez. She wanted to tell him everything she had found out and let him comfort her and also advise her on what to do.

"Cortez, I hope you're okay," Axilla muttered to herself, tears flowing down her eyes.
