Kapitel 224: Hilten vs Chris

"Let her go, Hilten," Chris said, trying to keep his voice as calm as possible. "You don't have to run. Turn yourself over—"

"Do you think I'm an idiot! Kylo was intent on killing us!" 

Hilten's eyes were wide and red, his entire body reeked of panic. His overall appearance was nothing like the kind and calm uncle he used to show. 

"PUT DOWN YOUR WEAPON!" He yelled, making his hostage squeak, and Chris panicked doing as he was told.

"Okay, okay.." Chris exclaimed and raised his hand, putting his weapon down. 

He saw a small line of blood drop and his heart broke. At the same time, he was thinking of how to get Claire of this situation.

He messed up. 

Because they got surrounded by zombies, he immediately took her to an alley and protected it so he at least had some cover. However, while he was busy dealing with the mob, Claire was taken right behind him!
