Kapitel 8: Toji Info
The name of the chapter says it all.
Kakashi walked back into his room after rounding everything up. Brushing, bathing and combing his hair to fit his taste, which was the original style. He then went into the bedroom with a towel wrapped around his waist to cover his prized possession.
"I would have just come naked but it's just a habit I developed when I stayed in the headquarters." He said to himself.
In his previous life he was used to sleeping in a wide, spacious room that numbered with up to 60 inhabitants in one room. There would be only one pair of clothing and you wouldn't want it to get dirty in the night. As a result, they all slept with towels on.
Kakashi got onto his knees and fished for more slips of "paper". After making sure he combed the area he found a total of 4000 yen under the bed. A normal person would go to the police station so that the money would be returned to the original owners.
But a normal person had a stable source of income. A normal person didn't have two cracks in his house. A normal person had money that would last him to buy all the basic necessities.
The house Kakashi was staying in had no foodstuffs. But it had everything else, it had water, it had a large amount of toothpaste and a lot of unused toothbrushes, it even had utensils like pots that just stared at him waiting to be used.
But it had no foodstuffs. There was nothing that was just waiting to be cooked and served to the single person that stayed in it.
"I can't believe they only had a total of 4000 yen." Kakashi kept the money at the corner of his bed and laid there.
"It's just only one month before Toji Zenin dies." Kakashi said to himself. The whole situation still shocked him to this day. Kakashi had suspected that it would be about 6-5 years before the events of season 1 of the anime started.

Toji Zenin was the trash of the Zenin. Even though he was son of the 25th clan head he was still treated like thrash because he had zero cursed energy.
He was born with a heavenly restriction/pact that prevented him from awakening a cursed technique and prevented him from having an ounce of cursed energy.
Heavenly restriction/pact come in different forms. While the person would be strong, they cause massive handicaps. It caused cursed energy restrictions which gave a person a weak, frail and sickly body in exchange for a massive amount of cursed energy.
The only one who could awaken a positive side of the heavenly restrictions/pact was the cursed spirit who was known as Mahito. Unfortunately for those lucky souls, the cursed spirit known as Mahito had not been incarnated.
However, the one Toji Zenin was said to be born with was positive. The lack of cursed energy with maximized physical prowess. While it is called a restriction, it could hardly be called one, it was a blessing. (That is why MAPPA changed it to heavenly pact.)
It gave massive benefits to the user. To any sorcerer, a strong foe who cannot be detected with cursed energy and is able to hide from the eyes like a trained master is a nightmare.
Even Satoru Gojo who had the strongest tracking cursed technique lost sight of Toji Zenin seconds after the fight started.
That makes anyone with this restriction/pact the worst matchup for sorcerers relying heavily on cursed energy for residuals or cursed energy for detection.
Aside from being invisible, the other main benefit is having maximized physical stats. This isn't to be underestimated since their raw power and speed make them a nightmare for most people to go up against.
Being born with a heavenly restriction/pact can make someone surpass any cursed technique that could have been awakened. Two are widely known, and depending on how they are viewed, they are either the best thing or the worst that could happen to a person.
The Zenin clan who valued cursed technique over cursed energy would not have any of it since Toji had neither cursed technique nor cursed energy.

To the Zenin clan, Toji fell into the worthless trash category.
He was beaten and bullied for something he had no control over, when it was the mother and father that should have been disrespected for being the parents of someone with no cursed technique neither cursed energy and was once considered a possible heir of the Zenin Clan.
Toji knew that he would never be accepted into the clan, given that he didn't even awaken a cursed technique talk less of a powerful one. So, with that knowledge, he left the clan after growing strong enough to one-shot every member of the clan in one go.
No breaks, no regrouping, no injuries.
Once he fully awakened his heavenly restriction/pact, the clan regretted everything they had done to him. It ended up being a matter of whether he was in the mood to kill them, it became the matter of a whim whether the Zenin clan existed.
Nobody could stop Toji Zenin. He was not a sorcerer, but he was the strongest person alive before the year 2006.
Not even the fastest sorcerer matched up to even half of his speed.
While heavenly restriction users have been born in the past, none measured up to the full might of Toji Zenin.
Even if they had Projection sorcery? Ten shadows? Hell, if they had someone who had both they would still come up short of Toji.

The full might of Toji Zenin was world-shattering. That was the reason Kakashi wanted to see him up close. His fighting style was nothing to scoff at, and while he had no CT his martial arts style fell under Taijutsu.
Kakashi planned to copy the fighting style of one of the strongest, and his use of the trees acted like an innate domain. Kakashi planned to also copy that.
While that would cost more of his stamina to perform that, Kakashi was prepared for what he was planning.
"While I'm there I would also like to see if I could copy cursed technique and Reverse cursed technique." He was drifting into the land of sleep. "But that would mean I need to create a training regime to get stronger before that event."
"I guess I'll spend the morning before 11Am trying to get a hang on the jutsu I can use with the sharingan… Then the evening from 7-9 will be spent practicing the lethal jutsu."
A few seconds after he had decided that Kakashi fell asleep.

Even if Kakashi mastered all the jutsu available they wouldn't be very effective against curses.
A significant problem with dealing with cursed spirits without cursed energy is that they cannot be fully exorcised without the use of cursed energy. While they can be incapacitated with physical ability, cursed energy is required to thoroughly required to dispose of them.
The only way for someone without cursed energy to deal with them is with cursed weapons.
But, there was another way. Jujutsu sorcerers used cursed energy to ensure that even their normal attacks would be able to dispose of the curse.
A non-sorcerer would be able to fight a curse off by lacing his attacks with cursed energy. However, that was impossible due to the fact that there is no one known to be able to absorb cursed energy from the surroundings.
However, Kakashi isn't called the master at the art of copy for nothing.
Something similar will happen. But he is not becoming Sukuna's vessel!
