Kapitel 207: For The Best

While Xiang Ling and Dao Ming were busy voicing out their promises to each other, another person stood outside their room, listening everything with a soft smile on his lips. He felt happy for her and his friend as well. But all that he felt for himself in that moment was sadness and nothing else.

How much he wished to be as brave as Dao Ming to accept his love for his beloved. How much he wanted to be brave enough to face whatever punishments the future held for his choices. Unfortunately, he wasn't brave enough.

Realizing that he shouldn't stay there any longer to give the two inside real privacy, he made his way away from the room and headed downstairs. They were currently at an Inn that was located near the Azure Misty Mountains. Since Xiang Ling needed immediate medical attention, they booked a room at this inn and decided to stay there for the night.
