He could monitor his house through CCTV cameras from the office. He had several enemies and had been dealing with all of them at a time so he had to be alerted. He checked the CCTV FOOTAGES of the house as usual and saw Diya going near his room. When she tried to enter his room he got raged and came home right then but he could not vent his anger on her. She was a strange girl. She didn't care about his anger and didn't get scared by him. Her behavior had changed. At the hospital, she expressed her feelings for him emotionally but now she had become a stranger. She did not come close to him even though she considered him his fiancee. If another girl were there, she would have offered herself to him. He had an attractive appearance that any girl could fall for him. But Diya surprised him.
He didn't go to the office then and came to his room. An hour had passed but he was thinking about her helplessly while smoking. He came out of her thoughts at the door knock.
"Yes." His heavy voice sounded in the room. Adeel came in with a cup of coffee.
"Will you eat lunch at home?" Adeel asked, placing the cup on the table before him.
"No." He said. Adeel nodded and went out. He picked up the cup and got up from the couch, walked to the window. He took a sip of coffee and started looking outside when his gaze fell on diya. He became stunned.
...….
Aania was standing by the window of her room which was towards the back garden of the house. She was lost in the memories of her parents which were connected with this garden. Hadiqa opened the door and came inside.
"Someone has come to see you, Aania," she said. Aania turned and looked at her.
"Who?" She asked in surprise.
"A man and a woman. They said they are your relatives." Hadiqa told.
"Let's see Who they are," Aania said and moved towards the door. Hadiqa followed her. They entered the drawing-room. The guests stood up.
"Aania?" The girl asked excitedly.
"Yeah I'm Aania, but who are you guys?"
"We are your cousins, My name is Hamad and she is tabeer. Do you know about your mother's brother and sister? " said Hamad.
"Yes, I know. They are half-siblings of my mother," Aania said in a cold tone. nusrat and afzal were Nabila's stepmother's children. They abuse her so much.
"Look, what happened in the past is not our fault. But if you see our fault, punish us, but now put an end to this anger." Hamad said in a conciliatory tone.
"I can't forget the pain my mother suffered. They did wrong. They should be punished. I don't blame you but I can't behave to you Normally" she said sternly.
" Aunty Nusrat died of blood cancer and my father was murdered a few years ago. They got punished." Hamad told her.
" Murder?" Aania felt pity.
" Yes. They have realized their wrong deeds and wanted to apologize to your mother but they couldn't find her. After his murder, I tried to find her to say sorry but I heard the news of her murder." he was saying and Aania got shocked. Hadiqa pursed her lips. She had known that but amrina forbade her to tell it to Aania. She was already sad. hadiqa didn't want to hurt her anymore.
"What are you saying? My mother died in a car accident." Aania said in confusion.
"Didn't you hear the news? Every news channel saying that the car accident was murder." Hamad said with amazement. Aania's became stilled for some moments.
" Yes. He is right. Someone killed your parents in a car accident." Tabeer added. Aania couldn't hear any more. She turned and went out of the room without saying anything.
"Sorry, she didn't know her parents were killed so she reacted like that. She's very sad right now. Please don't mind." Hadiqa said to them.
"Please don't say that. we can understand what she is going through now," said Hammad.
" You guys don't go before dinner. Let me show you the rooms. Rest for a while." Hadiqa said anxiously. Her mind was towards Aania. She wanted to go to her as soon as possible. But taking care of guests was also necessary.
... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. …
"Hello! Little boy." She called salar from behind. He turned to look at her
"Who are you?" He asked in surprise.
"I am diya. Will you befriend me?" She forwarded her hand towards him.
" Why not?" He shrugged and grabbed her hand. Diya smiled. She liked his cute confidence.
" By the way, aren't you the woman of our master?" He guessed. Probably he had heard it from his parents. Diya's cheeks turned red.
"Oh. Are you shying?" Salar laughed. She couldn't help but smile.
"Naughty boy." She brushed his hair with her hand.
"No. I am a very innocent boy. My mom said I am a devil but dad says I am an angel. Who should I consider right? Of course dad." He started talking rapidly. Diya laughed.
"Yes." she nodded.
" Oh, I forgot to introduce myself. Hi, My name is Salar Adeel and I am 10 years old. I studied in fifth grade. I don't like studies but I am good at sports." He introduced himself with details.
" So sweet ."diya pinched at his cheek.
" Would you like to play with me?" He asked, blinking innocently.
" Yes. What do you want to play?" she asked with interest.
" Kikli."
" How to play it?" She did not know about it.
" Hold my hands." He crossed his arms and asked her. She held his hands.
" Now we have to twirl around each other in a circle." He explained.
"Ok. I got it. " She nodded. They started moving around each other slowly at first. Then they increased their moving speed. Diya had more power so she made him move in the circular motion around her. Salar lifted up his feet from the ground and moved like a planet around the sun. Diya twirled rapidly. Their waves of laughter were spreading in the air.
Ghazi who was standing in his room window was astonished to see that scene.
"They will fall badly." He gritted and ran towards the door, placing the coffee cup on the table. When he reached the back garden they had successively stopped the moving. Now they were sitting on the ground, laughing and panting.
"You are something else " he muttered. Salar's gaze fell on him. He quickly stood up.
"Hello, master!" He said with respect. Diya turned her head to see him. Her face was shining with sweat
"What was this?" He glared at them both
"We were playing," Salar told, looking down
"Don't play with her again." He ordered.
"Why?" Diya exploded. He did not know the answer to this question.
"You can't question me. " He said in a cold tone.
"I will." she asserted. Salar gestured to her not to argue with the master but she didn't look at him.
" little boy. You can go. " Ghazi said, looking at the stubborn girl.
"Diya is dead." He went, thinking.
"So, you will argue with me?" He walked close to her. She nodded silently.
"Don't you remember I was so cruel?" He touched her cheek. She blinked only. He moved his hand back because his heart fluttered and she did not get any effect from it.
"I think I have lost my memory. " He mocked.
" I think so." She remarked innocently. Ghazi stared at her.
" Ok. Let's suppose this. Now tell me, how was our relationship? Were we close?" He asked, observing her face.
" I don't know." She got nervous and turned to go. Ghazi grabbed her wrist
" You can't go without answering me." He challenged her. Diya smirked, moved her arm with a jolt. Her wrist slipped from his hand. She ran away within seconds. He became still with amazement.
