“This guy gets a return rate of fourteen percent plus points. It’s called hard money lending and the person who takes out the loan is building or renovating a house and uses the house or houses for collateral. If he defaults, you and the other lenders have the first lien. You can fix the house up yourself or sell it as it is and get your money back, but there has never been a default. I invest with him myself. Fourteen percent plus points is damn good in this market.” Jake reached for his wallet. “Here’s a card.”

Bull looked it over. “Maybe I’ll give them a call. I want Jamie to be taken care of should anything happen to me.”

“You must know that none of us would let Jamie down.” Jake took another sip of his wine.

“I know, but I have to be sure.” Bull took out his wallet and stuck the card inside.
