"You are done?" John asked.

"Hmm." Nora replied as she showed her packed bag. 

"Good. You wanna join me for dinner?" Not beating around the bush, he directly asked.

"..." Nora's face got stiff. She wasn't surprised by the invitation but was surprised by the sudden invitation. Moreover, for Dinner. She wouldn't mind having dinner with him, but right now she still hasn't digested her afternoon lunch.

She bit her lower lip. She didn't know how to deny it. John has just waited for her straight half an hour, for what? Just to hear 'No' from her? That's embarrassing for her.

Nora didn't need any identity verification to go out for dinner with him. Although she knows nothing about John, she knows one thing that he is a respectable man in Karan's eyes too. Karan Gill himself minds his behaviour around him. And even when she came for Karan, he didn't try to hide her from him. That means he isn't a bad person.
