Kapitel 3: Chapter 3 Blooming
One day he called me to canteen. I felt really happy and I went to meet him and I was waiting for long and then he came, asked me "why are you ignoring me? Did I hurt you? Or its something else?" I said him what actually happened. Then everything became normal between us.
One day we were on a video call and
talking nicely and suddenly one of my hostel mate, she was a research student came to invite me for her wedding.
I don't know why but I asked "will you invite me for your wedding?". He said "no one invites the bride". I started blushing and the best part was even he was blushing.
It was really a cute and also kind of a smart proposal.
But I didn't prefer to reply at that point. I changed the topic and started asking about his project.
Then I started avoiding meeting him and tried not to talk much with him because if I become more close to him, I will surely fall for him which I didn't wanted. It's not that I didn't liked him or something else but the reason was he was just perfect for me and if we get into a relationship and later my parents won't agree I will not be able to get over it.
One day he called me and said he wants to meet me. I denied. And he said "if you are avoiding just because I proposed you then you are not a perfect friend. I just expressed my feelings and you took it in a wrong way. If I wished, I could have kept my feelings upto myself but I preferred telling you and you are punishing me for being straight."
I was silent, not because I didn't had anything to say, but because he was not in a situation to listen to me.
He was continuously saying, he said "I felt that if I have some feelings for you and I'm behaving like friend just because I could lose you if I express myself then I'm not worth enough to be called as friend. The one who is afraid to express his love, doesn't deserve to be loved. This is the reason which made me express. If you still feel that I should be avoided then its upto you".
I broke my silence and replied him "you think I'm avoiding you because I don't like you or because you expressed your love or because of any other reason, then you are absolutely wrong. I'm avoiding you because if I come more close to you I will fall for you which I don't want to happen".
