"I'm not looking anymore. My eyes are tired after reviewing so many documents this morning," Mayor Ji Mingyang said as he put aside the file Bai Xiaosheng had given him, and smiled at Bai, "Since you're already here, you might as well tell us about it."

"I want to hear it too!" Zhang Meng said urgently.

Ji Mingyang was not one to easily state his position, but once he did, it was hard to change his mind.

The document from Bai Xiaosheng must have sparked his great interest, which is why he uncharacteristically voiced his opinion after only reading a little more than a page.

At this point, Zhang Meng had no way to persuade Mayor Ji to give up, and likely couldn't, so he could only follow along and listen. If there were any inappropriate points, he could point them out on the spot, perhaps convincing the Mayor to reassess and even have Bai Xiaosheng revise them.

"Alright, since you want to hear it, I'll tell you," Bai Xiaosheng said with a smile.
