Tristan always admired stories of powerful heroes battling many evil creatures and how they spend their days rich and happy. However, having low talent on mana arts, he was tasked to take care of the chickens on the orphanage.

On his ninth birthday, the orphanage caretaker gave him a silver necklace and a meter long woodcraft engraved with exquisite patterns which were with him seven years ago when a man left him behind. That night, while having delusions, he accidentally unlocked a secret behind the woodcraft.
