Kapitel 52: An outcast

Oh my god.

Oh my god..

Oh my god...

The hall suddenly became small and too tight for me. I couldn't seem to breathe and I could feel all eyes on me.

They all know now.

They all know and they think it's my fault...

"I can't believe this." A girl says to her friend as she passes by.

"I know right. How can you destroy your aunt's marriage? So disgusting." The friend shudders.

They have it all wrong.

I didn't! I didn't!! I didn't!!!

"Raven?"

It was all their fault. I'm-

"Raven?!"

I didn't kill them! I didn't seduce him!! I didn't-

"Raven?!!!" I snap out of my thoughts when I hear Chloe's voice. "C'mon" She pulls me up. "We should go." She leads me away from everyone.

As we were going, I could hear their whispers, their accusations,

Their judgement.

All what I feared finally came true.

"I even heard she slept with them."

"I can't believe I almost asked her out."

"So she's the reason why Miles and Nick hate each other?!"

"How can you sleep with your uncle?"

"Is it safe for us if she's still here?"

"This is so disgusting."

They didn't stop.

They became louder and louder and louder.

Chloe pulls me into an empty restroom and locks the door.

I walk to the far corner and crotched down.

She stays silent for a moment. "I'm going to kill the person that did this!" She suddenly shouts and I jump. "Is someone that bored?!"

"I didn't do it." I mutter. "I swear I didn't." I mutter as I rocked my heels.

Chloe sighs and walks to me. She bends down in front of me and takes my hands in hers.

"I know you didn't. We are going to find this person, and get him expelled okay? They can't mess with you and think they can get away with it."

"They all judged me, but I didn't do it."

She hugs me. "They're all fools. They don't know you. They're all useless teens with nothing to do."

The bell rings and she pulls away. "Let's get to class."

"But-"

"You have to show them this doesn't affect you. You have to show them it isn't true. You have to show them it has nothing to do with you. You are just a victim okay?"

How do I show them I am the victim when they all think I'm the culprit?

They weren't there. They didn't pass through all what I did.

They didn't have to cry themselves to sleep every night.

They didn't try to think of ways they could end their lives just so to release pain.

They didn't.

"They don't know anything." She continues. "And you have to show them that. Show them you're strong." She says and I couldn't help but stare at her.

She doesn't even know my side of the story, but she believes me. She read what was on the blog, but she believes me. She didn't even think twice about it. She didn't ask questions or demanded answers.

She just believes me.

Is this what you call true friendship?

Standing by them no matter what they did or they've done?

I nod my head slowly and she smiles.

"Now let's go show those fake ass bitches who the real bitch is." She pulls me up and we both walk to class.

As soon as we enter the class, all eyes are on me.

Some faces were in disgust, some in shock, some in confusion.

I silently sat down on my seat as I tried to listen to the teacher.

"Hey." I hear behind me. "Isn't she the one Miles and Nick were fighting over the last time?"

"Yeah. Turns out she turned them against each other."

"Wow. She's brave. I like it."

"What? Dude no. How can you like someone who killed her parents."

I didn't do it.

"What if she kills your parents?"

I swear I didn't do it.

"Or worse, you."

It's all a lie.

"Yikes you are right. I wonder how many people she has even disposed."

"I didn't do it!!!" I suddenly stood up and shouted.

"Miss Evans?" The teacher calls me. "Is everything okay?"

I turn to the boys who were talking behind me.

"I swear I didn't do anything."

"But that's not what the tabloids say." One of them speaks up.

"It calls you a slut." The other says.

"A liar." A sudden student shouts.

"A whore." Another shouts.

"A murderer."

"Quiet down class!!!" The teacher shouts but no one listens.

"A bully."

"A psychopath."

"A home wrecker."

"An ingrate."

It went on and on. They didn't stop.

"ALL OF YOU SHUT THE FUCK UP!" Chloe stands up and everyone keeps quiet.

"Have you got no shame?" She asks.

"It's your friend that has no shame. How can she think to come here after all she has done?!" A girl from behind shouts.

"But you have no proof she did it right?" Chloe asks. "How can you be all stupid?"

"All of you settle down now or I'll fail all your tests!!" The teacher shouts and we all quiet down.

I gently sit down but I couldn't concentrate in class anymore.

As the day went on, it became worse.

Students stayed clear of me when they saw me walking by.

I could hear their judgemental whispers.

I went into the restroom and every girl left when they saw me.

I was isolated from everything.

People stayed clear of me during lunch, they stayed clear of me during class, they stayed clear from anything that had to do with me.

They treated me like I was a disease. They treated me like a tumor. They treated me like an outcast.

I never did anything wrong. I never did.

My parents died because of an accident, my aunt inflicted pain on me. My cousin hates me for no reason, and she bullies me because of it. My uncle sexually harasses me but they all think it's my fault.

They all think I did something everything wrong.

They all turned the tables against me.

As the day went by and it was closing time, I still couldn't get the looks on their faces off my back.

I couldn't deal with the fact that they just heard one side and thought it was my fault.

I really didn't do it.
