Kapitel 6: CHAPTER 6: THE LEGAL (ENSIS) GUILD
4 years passed, Ignacia was 12 years old.
Ignacia learned and practiced swordsmanship in the past 4 years. She built up her physical strength and adjusted her swordsmanship style for 1 year due to the swordsmanship here was totally different from Samurai's style. She won Gabriel in the mock fight after 2 years passed. She has succeeded to mix the two styles of swordsmanship together and make a good combination in the fight recently.
For magic lesson, she learned and ended everything within a year because it was not much different from the power that Daiki had processed. She learned that some of her powers were not normal in this world, like 'The Eyes of Truth', and 'Familia', the ability to make pack or enslave with force. She can use healing magic power even though she was not white mage but it was one of five-tailed fox's powers.
She can use all abilities of Black Mage, the element magic power, 'Teleport', and 'Magic Space' which were the same as five-tailed fox's powers. The different factor is the level of magic power. The more level of magic power, the more abilities they can use.
With the fact that she was in Animus, it made her learn everything easily and she could succeed very fast.
Apart from that Felix also hired many tutors for her. He wanted her to become his successor and the next heir to Virtusarium seriously.
After she learned the swordsmanship, she used this chance to ask for more suits, shirts, trousers, and boots. She hardly wears dress now.
In the evening, at the dining room.
Felix, Isabella, and Ignacia were having dinner together.
"Do you remember the private land you requested from us, Igna?" Isabella asked.
"Yes, Mom" Ignacia said.
"We could find the land 3 years ago but we took time to build the mansion and changed the landscape to be more beautiful. It might finish around next month," said Isabella nicely.
"Thank you, Dad, Mom" said Ignacia happily.
"I heard Princess Estella got engaged to The Crown Prince," Felix said.
"Is that so? They seem to suit each other well," Isabella said.
Ignacia said nothing. She decided since the beginning that she will not socialize with her.
"It will be your birthday soon. We think we will hold the grand party for you, Igna. So, we can find your fiancé in this party," Felix asked her kindly.
"No, I won't marry man, Dad" said Ignacia seriously.
"What do you mean, Igna?" Isabella asked, surprisingly.
"I like woman not man, Mom" said Ignacia honestly.
"You can't marry a woman, Igna" said Felix worriedly.
"If so, I won't marry anyone, Dad. You said you won't let me marry any guy," said Ignacia calmly.
Felix looked at Isabella seriously. He was confused with this kind of situation. He has never thought that his daughter will become like this.
"You're our only child, Igna. We could not have more child because it would be risk to your mother's body," said Felix kindly.
"If so, please find a way to make me become pregnant without touching a man, Dad" said Ignacia calmly. She was willing to give birth but she could not bring herself to have intercourse with any man.
"Are you serious, Igna?" Isabella asked, she was likely to be faint.
"All right. I will consult with The Great Sage first," said Felix, he finally gave in.
"Yes, Dad" said Ignacia pleasantly.
"How was your swordsmanship training, Igna? I heard no one can win you now. What would you like to do next?" Felix asked her kindly.
"I would like to work as a mercenary to get the real experiences, Dad" said Ignacia eagerly.
"…I will allow you to do so but you must apply to The Fidelitas Academy at the age of 15 in exchange. You know the entrance exam is very hard, right?" said Felix worriedly.
"Yes, I will do my best to pass the exam, Dad" said Ignacia happily.
Isabella looked at her daughter. She started to think that she has a son not a daughter.

The next day, Ignacia went to The Ensis Guild, the East branch, in the city of Oriens. She was wearing, shirt, trousers, boots, and leather armors. She made her appearance like a boy and the other mercenaries.
'The Ensis Guild' is the legal guild that registered under the law of Mirarus Empire. They provide and hire mercenaries to help the empire killing monsters, including doing the other legal jobs as the requirement from other people who pay the money. They have 5 branches in total, which are located in Medietas, Oriens, Aquilo, Austellus, and Occidens.
The people who want to work at The Ensis Guild, they must reach the age of 12 and register in The Ensis Guild in any branches to get the right to do their jobs.
'A Mercenary' a people who registered to work in the risk jobs such as monster killing, merchant escort, and the other jobs that were required to use force.
'Ranking System' The Guild will adjust the ranking of mercenaries by their skills and reputation. The highest to lowest ranks were 'Platinum', 'Gold', 'Silver', and 'Copper'.
'Job' The Guild will judge the difficulty of the tasks and announce the ranking in job requirement for all jobs.
Apart from the mercenaries, The Ensis Guild also provide and hire 'The Skilled People', the people who registered to work in skilled jobs which considered by their types and performances.
Ignacia went inside The Ensis Guild. She walked direct to the counter without caring the other mercenaries who were looking at her.
"Hello. How can I help you? It's my first time seeing you here." Flora asked, nicely. A guild officer who was in her middle twenties. She has green hair and green eyes.
"I would like to register as a mercenary," Ignacia said.
"Do you know that you must pass the test before you can register as a mercenary?" Flora asked, surprisingly.
"Yes," Ignacia said.
"All right. Come with me," Flora said and led Ignacia to the testing area.
"There is a boy who want to register as a mercenary, Mr. Nero" Flora told Nero.
"This is Mr. Nero. He's in 'Eques' and very strong. If you passed his test, I will register you in our guild system," said Flora nicely. She did not think Ignacia will pass but she likes Ignacia without knowing that Ignacia was a girl.
"Yes," Ignacia said.
Nero handed wooden sword to Ignacia and said, "If you want to pass the test, you have to win me, boy"
Nero was on guard, waiting for Ignacia to attack him.
Ignacia started to attack him while observing his movements. She continued to attack him until she learned his regular movements. She deceived him into thinking she will attack him on his left shoulder, then flipped a sword to attack him on his right arm instead.
Nero could not block her, he was hit on his arm.
"It's my first time I was hit very fast. You passed the test, boy" said Nero nicely and asked, "What's your name?"
"Ignatius," Ignacia told him a boy name.
"You're great, Ignatius" said Flora surprisingly, "Come with me. I will register you in The Ensis Guild."
Flora explained all the necessary rules to her, then said, "Write you name here," she handed a paper form to her and showed the magic tool which designed like fingerprint scanner device with clear crystal ball next to it, "this is magic tool which use to create your ID plate. Use your hand to touch on the crystal ball first and put both of your thumbs here to register your identity."
Ignacia wrote only name 'Ignatius' on paper, then put her left hand on the crystal ball.
There was golden light shining after she touched on the crystal ball.
"Oh, who are you? I have never seen the golden light like this before," Flora said, surprisingly
"Is that so?" Ignacia said. She tried to conceal her identity but the magic tool showed the level of her magic power clearly.
"Yes, it means you processed very high level of magic power, Ignatius" said Flora enthusiastically, "as I remember, there are The Great Sage and a daughter of The Duke of Virtusarium who possessed very high magic power in this period of time. What's her name again?"
"Ah, her name is Ignacia De Virtusium" Flora said and looked at Ignacia, curiously.
The magic tool produced and released the silver plate out, like printing machine, while Flora was looking at Ignacia.
Flora looked at silver plate and Ignacia, then said, "Everyone got the copper plate from the beginning but you got the silver plate and your name is Ignatius" she was curious about her.
Ignacia avoided her eyes and thought to herself, 'Why is she so smart? Or is it everything about me too obvious?'
"Did I finish the register?" Ignacia asked.
"Yes," Flora said and handed silver plate to her, "please use this ID plate every time when you register the job task. If you lost it, you have to pay 1 gold coin to reproduce it."
"I got it," Ignacia said and left hurriedly. She did not want to get more attention on the first day.
A few days later, Ignacia went to the guild to look for the job task. She was looking for the job which related to monster killing. She chose the jobs to kill the goblins in the forest next to the city, and get rid of slimes in the farm.
Ignacia walked toward another guild officer, then said, "I will do these two jobs." She handed the paper of job announcements to her.
"Please give me your ID plate," said Mariana, a woman who was in her late twenties. She has light blue hair and light blue eyes.
Ignacia handed her ID plate to Mariana.
Mariana registered her jobs and said, "Please collect all the magic stones inside the monsters to exchange the reward." She handed ID plate back to Ignacia.
"I got it," Ignacia said and left.
She walked out of the city and went to the forest.
Mirarus Empire is a very large empire. For that reason, The First Emperor had given authorization to The 5 Lords to rule each parts of Mirarus Empire. Apart from that, all The 5 Lords must protect their areas from Invaders and monsters by themselves. The Royal Family support only the border between Aquilo and Tempestas Forest, Occidens and Pinus Forest due to there were many monsters in those two forests and Aquilo and Occidens were parts of Dignita Kingdom before Dignita kingdom merged with the other two kingdoms to be Mirarus Empire.
All The 5 Lords had paid The Magic Tower or people who were in 'Sanctitas' to cast the magic barrier to protect their areas from monsters but the price was very high and up to the scope of area. The more scope of area they cast the barrier, the more cost they must pay. The magic barrier would not break unless it got attacked by the powerful power, which stronger than the magic barrier. For that reason, all The 5 Lords chose to cast the barrier in the main city and strengthened the knight forces including hiring the mercenaries to help them instead.
Ignacia walked through the wood to find the monsters as the details in the job announcement. She found a group of goblins hurting a villager. She hurriedly killed some of them in one slash.
The remaining goblins, armed with daggers and axes, ran toward her. They aimed to attack her but missed.
Ignacia dodged their attacks and killed it all very quickly.
"Thank you," a woman said in trembling voice. She was still frightened.
"Where is your house?" Ignacia asked.
"My house is in the village nearby. I came here to pick some herbs and got attacked by those goblins," a woman said.
"I have some business near the village as well. Let's go together, just in case," Ignacia said.
"Thank you," a woman said. She hurriedly collected the herbs and basket around her.
Ignacia collected all the magic stones and kept it all in 'Magic Space', then walked toward her.
We walked for a while until we reached to the safety area near the village.
"I will take my leave from here," Ignacia said.
"Thank you for everything again," a woman said, gratefully.
Ignacia went to the farm, she saw a lot of green slimes eating crops.
Most of the crops were damaged and the owner could not grow the crops because of slimes.
Ignacia activated 'Lightning Magic' to hit them all at once. They were shocked from the electricity. She activated 'Wind Magic' to move them out of the farm, then burned them all with 'Fire Magic'.
She collected all the magic stones, kept it all in 'Magic Space' and teleported back to the city, the area near The Ensis Guild.
She went inside the guild and walked toward Mariana, then took out all the magic stones from 'Magic Space' to put on the counter and handed the ID plate to her.
"You came back very fast," Mariana said, surprisingly. She counted the number of magic stones. "You killed 58 slimes and 9 goblins. You got the rewards from the job tasks including magic stones 15 gold coins in total." She handed money and ID plate to her.
"Thank you," Ignacia said.
"Ah, if you could kill the medium and high level of monsters, you will get promote to be in gold ranking faster. And you can get money from selling their magic stones and some of their parts as well," said Mariana nicely.
"I see. Thank you for the information," Ignacia said and left.
