Once the berries were all planted we headed back inside.
"Alright I'm going to check out the library and adjust the training schedule. See what kind of manuals are available." I tell the girls.
"I can help you with the schedule, we could use the one the military uses." Rook offers.
"Alright I suppose that could work. I mean it worked for you so I guess there isn't too much of a need to change things, just need to look up some training guides then for Stella. After all exercise is useless for her as she has pretty much unlimited stamina and doesn't grow any muscle." She could still get tired from using her energy and apparently the best way to increase her energy is to absorb life energy or eat those soul fruits and flowers. "If you would be willing you can also help us learn boxing and the other martial arts you know."
She perks up with a bright smile. "Of course that was what I was trained for, I was specially requested as I was supposed to teach and train others."
"Robert did mention about him wanting you to whip his fat grandson into shape. So are you like certified or something in teaching?" I ask curiously.
"I was training to be an instructor for other fighters. I had passed all my classes, well except cooking. But all my other classes I was top of my grade in. In the end however I wanted to go out and find my bonded one." She admits shyly. "I heard them offering to become a personal trainer under one of the generals grandchildren. I thought it would be perfect. But I was instantly rejected once I met him." She says in a sad voice.
I pat her hand with a smile, "Well you ended up with me in the end so it's all good, and I'm more than willing to let you instruct us." I tell her and she brightens up again.
"Yeah, its better this way. Besides he looked kind of gross and creepy now that I think about it." She says with a frown before shaking her head.
"Good let's get the schedule in order and we can start tomorrow." I pull up my phone and start asking questions.
She was very detailed in the training schedule.
However about halfway through a gong noise sounded out in my soul.
[World travel has been unlocked. Strength has reached Mid E-Rank. 1 travel slot available.]
I had forgotten I had world travel abilities. I'll just ignore that for now.
[Matrix Stamps have been unlocked allowing your bonded ones to enter or exit your personalized internal worlds.]
That however was good to have.
I reach out and grab the hand of Amber and a small omnitrix tattoo appears on the back of her hand and she stiffens, I do the same for Stella and Rook.
Seems how to use them is being put into thier mind. They focus once more a minute or so later before they vanish for a couple of second and reappear.
"Thank you master." Amber says with a grin.
"No problem. Now back to that schedule." I have no intention of going to a new world until I feel confident with my partners abilities to defend themselves in a new world.
Once the schedule is all written out. We head towards the Gym. The reason for that was because I want to see how good of a boxer Rook is.
The answer to that question was incredibly good.
I couldn't even touch her, but I was now sporting quite a few bruises all over my body and some blackened eyes. She was rather brutal.
But I learned that I picked up her moves rather quickly and started to adjust my defense and stances automatically. This was the glory that was a fighters body. She also started giving me tips which helped immensely.
Of course this made no different in my spar against her as she still beat my ass without me being able to land a single decent blow at all. By the time I was all sweaty and battered she still looked good as new. She wasn't even sweating. It was a blow to my pride as a man.
Then I had to lay down and let my body recover after eating some Sitrus berries. Which made my body recover at an insane rate, I could watch the bruises literally start to fade away slowly and my aches and pains melt. Sitrus berries were some good stuff.
The fighter body also had good recovery and stamina so that helped. About an hour later my bruises were all gone and I was just a bit tired.
I headed towards the library to look over the martial arts manuals which I seemed to understand much easier. Like everything just kind of clicked into my mind which didnt happen the first time.
It was like an idiot had suddenly gained the mental capacity of a genius and everything just clicked into place. Well that only worked for the martial arts, not the abilities.
I would still need to practice them but I just understood what to do better.
The next day the training started up once more now that everything was finally all settled.
Rook was an extraordinary teacher. She even had a complete schedule for Stella which involved eating soul fruits and practicing hand signs and abilities, soul fruits could indeed increase spiritual powers which was good to know.
Rook easily pointed out things we were doing wrong and corrected them. "Exercising wrong causes more bad than good."
The training was pretty harsh too, it was like i went back to being new at training and was just drenched in sweat with my muscles screaming at me. Well that's military training for you I suppose besides I had only trained for a week so.
I wasn't the only one sweating, Amber was there too right next to me suffering the same as I was which I was grateful for.
