Kapitel 98: Royal Court I

After Yang Ning returned to Yang Household with Xiaowei, Gu Lan and Zheng Liang went to the royal court for the afternoon session.

While going to the royal court, Zheng Liang sighed heavily as he remembered the way he was asking Yang Ning to stay back for lunch.

He still cannot believe that to accompany Yang Ning, he even tried to skip the royal court session.

He can skip the royal court session any day but today. Because today he needs to discuss something important with His Majesty.

Yet he forgot about his responsibilities and tried to make her stay back for lunch. "How can I ask her to stay back for lunch when I cannot even accompany her? Ah, So embarrassing."

"Why did I even ask her to stay for lunch at that time? Argh!! I must have lost my mind." He groaned in mortification and embarrassment.

Only three days are remaining in the WSA 2022 contest to come to an end. I was planning to start this novel the last year but many things were happening around me which became an excuse for me to delay its release. However, I am glad that I managed to participate in this contest. No matter what the results will be, I am happy to share this story with everyone and I hope you all will support it just like you supported my other works - My Evil Genius Wife and Eternal Love.

Even though I am lacking in many ways as an author and cannot release more chapters like many other authors, I am still glad and thankful for the readers who stay for my updates and read my works despite having so many flaws.

Ps. I was going to change the cover of my novel before the contest ends but something happened to my illustrator who was working on it and it got sadly delayed. Anyway, whenever it will be released, I am sure you guys are gonna love it. So wait for it.
