Kapitel 39: Lovable Brother Part 2

Calder's hair stood up on end. He knew that his brother was already going to start his teasing and there was no stopping it. He quickly glanced at Lady Syria from under his eyelashes and instantly paled. She was glaring at him with so much rage that he was at a loss for words. "Duke Anahata?" Esai called out but Calder stayed quiet. "Duke? D-u-k-e? Hey Duke?" Esai continued to call out but Calder kept his gaze locked on Lady Syria.

As if she was done sending her telepathic message she avert her gaze. Calder could feel his heart breaking. He definitely took things too far. "Hey Calder?" Esai called out gently as he paced a hand onto his shoulder. Calder looked at his brother and felt his eyes start to water. Esai's eyes widened. "I don't think I'm very hungry." Calder said pitifully. Esai shot both ladies a cold glare. "Well we should end breakfast here then." Esai said between clenched teeth.

The servants that were walking in with breakfast stopped dead in their tracks. "No, I'm just gonna go to my study and work. You should enjoy your food." Calder said as he tried to get up but Esai kept a firm hand on his shoulder, keeping him in place. "No. If you don't eat no one gets to eat." Esai said in a dark, ominous voice. "Throw the food away! No one is allowed to have a single scarp until the Duke feels hungry!" Esai commanded in a loud voice.

Calder broke out into a cold sweat. He wasn't expecting Esai to become so furious. "No wait!" Calder shouted as more colour drained from his face. There was no way Calder was going to let every single person in the palace suffer because of him. "I-I suddenly feel really hungry." Calder said in a shaky voice as his eyes trembled. Esai let go of Calder's shoulder and grabbed his face instead.

"Don't lie to save the worthless." Esai whispered as he inspected Calder's face. Calder shook his head no as his lips trembled. His bother was seriously too scary. "I have an appetite but I don't want anything too heavy. Maybe a nice porridge or oatmeal with toast?" Calder said in a pleading tone. "Fine... but everyone will have to wait for it to be done before they get to eat." Esai said as he narrowed his gaze at Calder.

"Why?! I don't mind eating alone! I can even eat in my study!" Calder shouted in a panic. "And who will serve you?! Do you think I would really let you be by yourself? Calder no one else in this palace is more important then you! So if you have to wait then we will all have to wait!" Esai shouted as he released Calder's face. "B-but that's not fair to the others...." Calder started to mumbled but Esai shot him a cold glare.

"It's not fair to you. I want you to eat on time too. You're so busy that sometimes you forget to eat. I worry." Calder continued as he looked at Esai. Everyone's jaws dropped, servants, ladies and Esai as they witnessed the gentle look that Calder gave.

Esai's eyes were shaking with joy that his shook was easily shaken off. He grabbed Calder's hand and quickly stood up. "Please take your time and enjoy breakfast. I need to take my lovable, baby brother to the physician." Esai announced happily before dragging Calder out of the room. "Esai!" Calder called out as he was dragged out. "Tell that old goat that I want him in my study immediately." Esai instructed a butler the moment they left the dinning room.

"Esai!" Calder called out as Esai sped walked towards his study, dragging Calder behind him as he did. "Esai please let go." Calder pleaded. Esai ignored Calder and threw open the door the moment they reached his study. He tossed Calder in and closed the door. "Big brother?" Calder called out in a weak, feeble voice as he looked at his back. Esai locked the door and Calder screamed internally. He quickly looked around and tried to find his escape route.

Esai turned around and showed off an extraordinarily evil smile. "Big brother no!" Calder yelled as he tried to scurry away but Esai was much faster and caught Calder within his embrace. "Oh my G*d! You are too cute I couldn't hold back any longer!" Esai shouted in delight as he rubbed his cheek against Calder's head. "Huh?" Calder said as his jaw dropped. "No matter how old you get I can only see you as my sweet baby brother." Esai sighed then planted a giant kiss against Calder's temple.

"HUH?!" Calder shouted. "You know what we should do?! You need to come to my room tonight and have a sleep over like we used to have back in the day." Esai said with a giant grin. "adkfjafiuew." Calder spouted as his brain tried to grasp the situation but a gentle knocking on the door interrupted their bonding time. "Seriously that man has the worst timing." Esai sighed as he got up and walked to the door.

Esai unlocked the door and Landis walked in. "Your Majesty." Landis said happily without bowing or greeting Esai properly. "Hey... Just get in already." Esai said with a monotone voice that it threw Calder for a loop. "He changes emotions so fast!" Calder screamed in his head as his brain panicked, trying to process what happened. "Calder my boy! Why are you on the floor?" Landis shouted as he tried to rush to his aid but Esai held him back.

"My brother." Esai said firmly before tossing Landis back and walking to Calder. He extended his hand outwards and smiled brightly as he waited for Calder to accept his hand. Calder reacted quickly and grabbed the hand as if his body was conditioned to do so. Esai smiled as he pulled Calder to his feet then quickly dusted him off.
