Suddenly he heard footsteps approaching. Calder clicked his tongue and decided to leave. He rushed out and hid around a corner as guards made it to the entrance of the hall.
They cautiously entered and Calder took it as his que to leave. He just didn't expect that more soldiers were going to be guarding every corridor. "Esai what are you doing?" Calder hissed under his breath.
Suddenly a guard rushed up to a group of soldiers. "Any sign of the Duke? We must find him quickly." The guard said. Calder stepped back into the shadows. He really had no idea why Esai wanted but he was not going to let him have his way. Esai back tracked and went down every corridor that was free.
Guards, soldiers and even knights were called out and they started a massive search for Calder. He was slowly being cornered. He didn't know what to do. He decided to run down one more corridor but instantly regretted it. He was trapped as voice were slowly approaching him from all sides. He backed up and hit a metal object. He brought his hand up and jiggled the object relentlessly.
"Oh come on!" Calder growled just as the voices started to sound louder. Suddenly the door opened and Calder fell in backwards. The door closed and a small lamp was turned on. "What are you doing?" A familiar voice called out. Calder scooted back and got off the floor instantly. "Sorry Lady Syria but I need your help." Calder said.
"Your highness?!" Lady Syria gasped. "Excuse me, Lady Syria are you be chance awake?" A male voice called out from the other side of the door. Lady Syria looked at the door and bit her bottom lip.
"Please, I need your help." Calder pleaded as he gently grabbed Lady Syria's hand. She looked back at Calder and her breath was caught in her throat. His facial features softened. He looked like a young man, desperately clinging on to his last life line.
"I don't know how I can help you?" She whispered. Calder pulled her closer and pressed her close to his body. "I'm sorry." He whispered before he sealed her lips with his own. Lady Syria's eyes widened from the shock and she stood frozen on the spot. Calder felt that time stopped right then and there. His head felt clear, the headache that threatened him vanished completely and his heart started to beat uncontrollably.
He reluctantly pulled back but his urges were too strong he kissed her again. This time it was slowly, more sensually. He sealed her lips perfectly and closed his eyes. Lady Syria gasped as he did. The moment he felt her lips part he couldn't hold stop the temptation. He moved his tongue forward and started to coax Lady Syria to open her mouth wider. Lady Syria trembled and unconsciously opened her mouth further.
Calder moaned as he slipped his tongue in further. He couldn't help himself any more, he started to invade her mouth with his tongue, tasting her completely. His body was heating up and he pulled Lady Syria closer towards his body. As if the distance between them was unbearable. Lady Syria started to relax under Calder's touch. She had no idea what was taking over her mind but she couldn't think anymore.
The feel of Calder's lips against hers were burning with a sweet heat while his tongue was enticing her to meet. She lost the grip she had on the small lamp and let it fall against the floor. She then raised her hands and wrapped her arms around his neck as her small tongue touch the tip of his. A growl escaped Calder and his right hand went up her back and positioned itself behind her head while his left cradled her lower back.
Calder felt his passion starting to blaze. He finally knew what he was feeling for Lady Syria and he could no longer stop it. He truly and utterly fell in love with her. He didn't know how or when it happened. It seemed ludicrous since it had not even been a full 48 hours since he saw her, not even 24 hours since he actually interacted with her but at that very moment, at the moment that his lips touched hers he knew. He was in love.
His kisses started to turn hungrier, he couldn't control himself. Lady Syria seemed to be in a similar trace and he was pleasantly surprised that her hands found a way into his hair. She was gently tossing his hair around and pulling herself closer to his face. He could feel that liquid was escaping the corners of their lips so he pulled away.
Lady Syria gasped for air. The light from the lamp gently illuminated small features of her face. Calder smiled, his joy was overflowing inside his heart. He leaned his forehead against hers. "That was my first kiss." He whispered before he kissed the tip of her nose. It shocked Lady Syria as a shiver ran down her spine.
Calder then kissed her eyebrow, then her cheek, them moved his lips to her jaw line. Lady Syria pulled her hands forward and found Calder's chest. He purred the moment her pinky touched a small patch of skin. Heat shot through her body and Calder placed a kiss on her neck. She gasped and found herself starting to unbutton his shirt. "Syria." He gasped as she placed her hand on his bare chest.
She lifted her hand up and gently grazed her fingertips over his right pec. Calder hissed and couldn't control his voice and decided to stat sucking were he placed his last kiss. Lady Syria gasped as she grabbed whatever she could find. She arched her back as he continued. "C-c-ca," She started to stutter but another knock was heard.
"Lady Syria, it's me." A voice called out. Lady Syria immediately sobered up and pushed Calder away. Calder looked at Lady Syria and couldn't see her face. He then looked at the door and knew who had knocked. He walked up to the door as Lady Syria was hiding in the dark. "I'm sorry but the lady has turned in for the night." Calder announced.
