Hera watched the fire in Florence's eyes blaze up. For a second, she almost doubted Florence was injured with how they flared up upon hearing Hera's teasing.
'This woman…' she thought. 'All she really cares about is what's hers.'
Hera checked her wristwatch, only to see they were thirty minutes ahead of what they expected. She smacked her lips, thinking she still had to buy herself some time.
"Say, Florence." After another moment, Hera's voice pierced through the silent air. "If I come out of here, do you think your people are waiting for me outside, ready to shoot me to oblivion the second they see my shadow?"
