The value of the Emerald Longbow was considerable, but Ranch had no intention of selling it. 

The bow seemed perfect for Sophia, and since knowing her, he realized he hadn't yet given her a gift.

Thus, Ranch didn't linger in the Dream Realm and returned to Mapleleaf.

In the inn room, the water-formed portal reappeared, and Ranch stepped out from it, not sensing Sophia's presence. 

After inquiring with the inn's staff, he learned that Sophia had stepped out due to some strange lights appearing in the city.

Ranch waited in the inn for over ten minutes before Sophia returned.

"Sophia, what happened?" Ranch asked with concern.

Panting, Sophia took a large gulp of water before explaining, "A magic array in Mapleleaf was triggered, seeming to open some portal, but by the time I got there, it had already closed."

"I see." Understanding the situation, Ranch quickly grasped what had happened.
