Ray was about to continue but paused, glancing at Violet's sprawled figure. He sighed.

"This girl still has redeemable qualities, although she'll be nothing more than a slave in my eyes. I should at least treat her better than Natalia…" Ray muttered, shaking his head as he walked away.

He gritted his teeth, his eyes burning becoming bloodshot with pure anger that seemed capable of devouring a person whole.
