Alex was now looking at the highly lovesick idiot Nine quarrel with his mentor and garde over the girl as Freya who was nearby whispered"This is very familiar setting."she was remembering how she fought with Hilde over a boy.
As they heard Nine with worry question"Can't we do something to help her?I mean we can get her parents out,after all we have numbers now."Nine is still in disbelief over the fact Maddy would betray him,he his choosing believe that Maddy is forced to betray him and what they had was real.
Sandor was annoyed,he tried to make the kid see reason after all going after the girl parents is going to only get us more attention and from what he aid heard from Hilde they had already blown up atleast two bases,which means the Mogs guard would be all time high.
Katrina spoke up"Stop acting like a loved sick boy and think,so you really think after she betrayed you in such manner you could trust her again with anything."
Nine opened his mouth to retort,but nothing came as he knew after this not matter how much he lied to himself,he wouldn't be able to fully trust her again.
Alex added this thoughts"Also we can't be extra sure about the fact she would not change sides to the Mogs believing siding with them is the only way to survive."
Nine gritted his teeth and yelled"What then we just ignore this and just once again move away from here?"
Sandor went to calm down Nine as he glared at Sandor and asked"We are supposed to be protectors and now we can't even save on of them."
Alex hearing this spoke up"Okay after we rescue her,we can't let them go on their own because the Mogs would just pick them up again.That's how vast their network is."
Alex didn't let Nine speak as he asked"What are we supposed to do hide her and her father with us.You know for a fact the moment we rescue her father the Mogs we make sure let a bounty out for her father and her.Also once again it mean she would know everyone of our identities."while internally he knew he could wipe her mind,but not gonna say that now.Also memory wipes or modifications are not always a good idea.If by chance she somehow regains those memories,their is no saying what the girl would do.
Nine stood their like an idiot,he was fuming with anger.He was about walk away to his room,when he suddenly fell on the ground asleep.Everyone saw Alex had his had held out as Sandor who ran to check nine questioned"Why did you do that?"
Alex sighed and replied"I read his thoughts he was going to sneak out to meet Maddy and confront her about everything."
Sandor looked at Nine as he was an idiot,as Six who came next to Alex asked"So what do we do now?I mean we have highly emotional idiot,who refuses to believe the fact the girl he likes is just playing him."
Six was not impressed with Nine the boy was too emotional and wasn't looking at big picture.
Alex sat on the couch and with sigh and said"I don't know,either we rescue the girl and make nine happy,but at the same time risking everything."
Alex remembered in the books it was never stated that Maddy was really in love with Nine,she only regretted her actions slightly when she saw the fact the Mogs were going to kill her and her father.So their is no proof the girl will side with us.
As Hilde said to Sandor "Make sure to keep him locked up.We can't have him going out."
Sandor nodded as he was carrying Nine away,Hilde said"We have to move away from
Hancock Tower, after all this place is compromised."
Alex nodded and replied"We will move away once Sandor makes him realise whats at stake."While being a human he could clearly see a possibility of Maddy switching sides,after the Mogs have the higher number and weapons.So the girl could switch side to the team she thinks would win.Even if they let the girl and father go after rescuing them with memory wipe,the might would catch them.
Alex groaned and thought"What to do?Let the girl die,in return causing nine to hate them or rescue her and risk everything on a possibility the girl will side with them."
