Her maids stared at her strangely when they dressed her up. As if they could not take their gaze away from her body.

Maggie paused when she noticed another hickey on her neck.

"Hide it with make up." the commanded when the maid hesitated only for a second before applying more bleach on the part.

They all knew about the strained relationship of the duke and the duchess but their voices had filled not even the room but hall.

Even royal maids who were only passing through, stopped and giggled until they were glared at by Liam.

Soon Garrison came out of the attached room fully dressed up. Ana could not help but stare at him. Thinking more about the wounds than what conspired between them when he smirked.

"Already hungry again?" she blinked, stunned for a second before her face turned so red that it would drip blood any second.

"We are late." she remembered as she stood up.
