The emaciated vampire continued its rapid charge toward Alex, whose body was already drenched in blood and fatigue. Despite the creature's movements becoming even faster and more violent, Alex's face no longer displayed anxiety, fear, or any negative emotions. Instead, a subtle smile curved his lips as he stared at the vampire, almost sneering.

The skinny vampire couldn't comprehend Alex's demeanor, but what it did know was that if its attack landed, Alex would be within its clutches. With this belief, the vampire turned around, casting a mocking smile back at Alex.

The assault reached its climax, and suddenly, the sound of a blunt object echoed through the air.

The floor shattered, reducing visibility to a narrow haze. After a while, the airborne dust gradually settled, revealing the aftermath of the impact.
