Kapitel 1: Prologue
Miya Ashente. A hero of the Kingdom of Elizion. Blessed with a warrior's prowess and skilled in the art of magic. She uses her halberd, War God, and dance into the battlefield with elegance and beauty.
That hero is fighting a war right now.
Due to the greed of mankind, the gods declared war against the humans and the kingdom of the once beautiful Elizion was now destroyed and in ruins. They were the first to be destroyed because the king, Marcus Llyode Elizion IX, became drunk with power, wished to rule the world and is in search for eternity. This is enough reason for the gods to wage war against the foolish humans who sought to become gods themselves.
"We should retreat and find settlement as soon as possible your Majesty."
"You're right hero. With the kingdom destroyed, we need a place to stay. Those damn gods! How could they do this to me! I swear I will make them pay! If its war they want, then I will happily comply! You hear me!? Foolish gods!" (Marcus)
[This foolish king... Searching for eternity is a taboo. No humans should cross that line, you fool! But... This might be fun. I wonder how I can fair with the gods with this power of mine.] (Miya)
As the hero and the king are talking, they were interrupted by a voice.
"foolish mortals, you dare traversed the chasms between man and gods. We won't let you escape!"
The one who spoke was flying in the air. An Angel with Pure white wings that grew behind his back, white armor with gold lining that shines even within the night. He wore a helmet that covers his face. He wields a giant great sword that looks like a Tryfing. From what he looks, one can feel the divinity from him.
"Tsk! An angel appeared! You guys take his majesty and retreat! Go to the Thania Empire! Go now! I'll buy you some time! Hurry! Run!" (Miya)
Miya shouted to the soldiers that are trembling and gave them an order to protect the king and retreat.
"U-U-Understood."
"R-Right away Hero! Please be careful!"
Miya felt the disturbance in the surrounding, as she watched them retreat at the same time. She looked up at the angel and she saw that the angel's weapon was gathering energy in the form of a white light. The sword lit up and the magic power from the sword wells up.
"You can't escape foolish humans! I won't let you! [Anima Ray]!"
The Angel stroke his great sword from left to right and vice versa. The emitted magical energy from the great sword was shot. The wave of a densely concentrated magical energy that came from the greatsword was shaped like a cresent moon.
[This is bad!! That's a dense magical power!] Miya thought to herself. If she don't do anything, they will die and not even their remains would be left. They would all be consumed by the discharged explosion.
"Shit! That will turn everything into nothingness! This land will be wiped off the map if I don't do something!" (Miya)
For the first time in a long time, she's trembling with fear. Knowing right there and then that she will die. Even if she uses her strongest magic barrier, there is no guarantee that she will survived. She resolved herself to her fate and done the impossible. For the sake of the kingdom that she serves and for its people.
"[Aspida Maxima]!"
She raised her hands forward and cast her strongest barrier in her arsenal. She then surrounded by lights that is shaped like a shield.
She jumped up to block the energy wave with the hope to protect the fleeing citizens. As long as the people lived, the kingdom will not perish and it will be rebuilt. With that thought in mind, she jumped to defend them.
As the first energy wave hit her, the shield that protected her shattered upon contact. Miya suffered some damage because of the impact. Then the second energy wave hit her body directly. She was blown away into a distance. As she flew away, she's violently stumbled into rocks and trees and finally her body was smashed in a cliff. Miraculously, she is alive. No normal human could've survived that blast from a divine being, but nonetheless she survived. In her current state, however, one could tell that it wasn't pleasant, and that one would wish that they haven't survive that overwhelming attack.
Her armor stood up some damage because of the enhancement imbue in it, but she suffered some broken ribs and her right arm was bent in the wrong place. She was helplessly sitting there with her battered body and broken armor.
Blood was dripping in her forehead. Her helmet was cracked. Her mouth is filled with the taste of blood. Her internal organs was damaged. She is in constant pain. She tried to stand up, but her battered body wouldn't move. Instead, she lookod up. There right in front of her, is the angel that is slowly descending.
"Tell me your name human. You're the first one that survived my attack that slaughtered many beings. You have my respect."
"Tsk."
She clicked her tongue. She look at the figure in front of her and she smile. With a weak and trembling voice. She spoke.
"... Miya... Ashente... Yeah I survived... But in my current state... I am as good as dead... Please... Grant me a beautiful end." (Miya)
"My name is Domiel Celeste. I am an archangel. Warrior of the gods. As a respect for being the only one that survived my attack. I will grant you death fitting for a warrior." (Domiel)
The archangel raised his great sword up into the sky, the great sword shone bright. It seems as if to channel magical energy in the surroundings. She felt the surge of magical energy wells up from the greatsword of the archangel. She knew it is an attack that will instantly kill any and other beings alike. Be it humans, monsters or demons.
[This is the end... Im sorry mom, dad... I will be going on ahead before you... Sister...]
Miya closed her eyes. She resigned to her fate and is waiting for her demise.
However...
No matter how she wait, her consciousness is still intact. She opened her eyes and saw an unbelievable scene. The archangel that was, in her thoughts, a symbol of overwhelming power, was bound by chains and couldn't moved.
"I will be the one who will kill that girl. Move aside lowly being!"
"!!"
A giant scythe hit the archangel from its side and was sent flying. Another overwhelming power has appeared. It was a demon clad in black armor.
The figure of a man wearing a jetblack armor and weilding a giant scythe was in front of her. A pair of wings that looked like a bat wings is protruding on its back. Horns like sheep grew from its forehead that extends to the back. The figure's armor was jet black but what caught her attention was the one embedded in the armor. A purple gemstone. It is the legendary Chaos Orb that thought to be a myth. Even if it exist, she never knew where to find it. The man that is standing in front of her is emitting a sinister black aura, that if any normal person would be exposed to, won't be able to move, or worst, would drop dead in an instant.
Miya broke out in cold sweat as she saw the figure. Her body trembled in fear, and is paralysed. Every being in her body is telling her to run, but she couldn't move. Her senses were dull, she couldn't think straight anymore, she was terrified at the being in front of her. She is sweating coldy.
Her eyes shows a reaction of recognition. Miya recognized the man in front of her. The only being that even made the Gods tremble.
"... Death..." (Miya)
