Shen Yin looked up and glared at him, then pushed him away and walked out of the room without saying a word.

Outside the room, Lu Wen was leaning against the wall with her head bowed. No one knew what she was thinking. When she heard the door open, she immediately straightened and looked up.

Shen Yin looked at her expressionlessly and asked in a low voice, "How long have you been here?"

Lu Wen blinked in shock, then as if she had realized something, she quickly shook her head. "Ms. Shen, I-I just arrived. I didn't hear what you were talking about. Really!"

Shen Yin nodded and gave her a meaningful look. Then, she turned around and returned to her room.

At that moment, Lian Jing was still in Old Master Lian's room. Shen Nian obediently blew on the hot tea in his cup and coaxed him to take a sip of water before retreating.
