In the secret chamber, apart from the dungeon, another eye-catching item was present. 

It was the book resting on the pedestal in the middle of the chamber.

The ancient book was bound in weathered, dark leather and had two locks made of crystals.

The first lock was crafted from a deep blue sapphire, intricately cut and shimmering with an inner light. The second lock was made from a vibrant yellow crystal topaz, equally detailed as the other lock of the book and glowing subtly under the orb of light.

The locks prevented the book from being opened by force.

Valerius tried to break the locks but was embarrassed by the result. Not only did he fail, but he also didn't even make a dent.
