The arrival of the eldest lady clearly drew the attention of the majority of the people in the hall.

Her gorgeous dress and the powerful aura she exudes were grabbing everybody's attention.

For that reason, although Keiko was walking beside her, everyone seemed not to be aware of her presence at all.

The atmosphere was silent for about two seconds before it became lively again.

No one came forward to greet Jeanne and they resumed whatever they did before.

It's just that many eyes glanced and sneaked over occasionally. It was obvious that they were conscious of the eldest lady's presence.

Jeanne showed a perfunctory smile, casting her gaze around without fear.

Then she squeezed a sentence out of her teeth and said it to Keiko.

"Look, how popular we're tonight," Jeanne made a sarcastic comment, "Almost all of the people gathered here are political enemies of the Armstrongs, and Smith has made a lot of money this time."
