Kapitel 101: Chapter 100: Aftermath

Appreciation: Finally, after more than 100 days, we've reached this milestone—chapter 100! Yes, everyone, this is chapter 100. Let me share a funny story: I started writing this fanfiction because I was really frustrated with Itachi's actions and, after reading about Danzo's dark schemes, I felt compelled to dive into this world myself. Before I knew it, I was writing this story, and wow, the response has been overwhelmingly positive. I've discovered that this has become my passion, and I'm truly grateful. Chapter 100: Aftermath
Izuna who were seated with Madara in the Uchiha Hall, had long noticed the chakra being emitted by Haruko. He was the first to realize that Setsuna and his wife were seeking revenge against Hiro. Setsuna had already explained to him the reason for their grudge. Izuna could only shake his head in annoyance at Hiro Hyuga, the man who had killed the brothers and then sought to marry their sister. This man was truly on another level of trash.
"It seems like Setsuna and Haruko are fighting with the Hyuga clan," Izuna remarked in the Uchiha Hall.
Madara and the elders, who had been preparing to observe the fight, paused in their actions.
"How do you know it's Setsuna?" one of the elders asked, even Madara looking at him curiously.
"Because they visited me today, and I recognized the chakra signature of Setsuna's wife," Izuna explained.
"Why are they fighting?" Madara inquired.
"Brother, don't you remember the last time? He basically 'kidnapped' Haruko, though he didn't, and took her away from Konoha. Now that Setsuna has returned with his wife, that part of the Hyuga clan can't contain their anger," Izuna answered.
After hearing Izuna's explanation and the reasons behind the fight, they decided not to interfere. It wasn't because they were leaving Setsuna to fend for himself, they trusted him completely and knew his strength very well but they didn't want to provoke the Hyuga clan and risk disrupting the peace in Konoha.
After more than 15 minutes, they suddenly heard a loud explosion and saw, from afar, a concentrated chakra sphere (Rasen Shuriken) destroying the surroundings. Realizing the danger, they decided to step in and ensure the fight didn't result in many casualties.
---Hyuga Patriarch---
He had been the Hyuga Patriarch for more than 20 years. His father had died along with over 30 Hyuga guards who were protecting him during the war.
Before his death, his father, Hyuga Karami, had given him the responsibility to protect the family and respect the branch members. He warned that, without respect, even the birdcage seal might not prevent rebellion. Only by valuing others could they unite the family and face external enemies.
The current Hyuga Patriarch, Hyuga Kurumi, followed his father's advice initially. He respected the branch members and didn't restrict them. A few years later, a Konoha envoy, consisting of Senju and Uchiha, came to invite them to join the new village.
He understood that the era of separate clans had ended and it was time to unite as one village. As a wise leader, he joined Konoha.
However, with no external enemies threatening the clan anymore, he gradually forgot the importance of respecting the branch members. Even his son grew worse, constantly targeting them.
He no longer saw the need to respect the branch members, as it was no longer wartime and there was no pressing need to keep the Hyuga united against external threats.
Gradually, both his and his son's behavior worsened. After Hyuga Miho and Hyuga Haruko escaped from Konoha, his son went from bad to worse, eventually becoming a trash. He took pleasure in bullying branch members, activating the birdcage seal without hesitation.
Sometimes, Hyuga Kurumi felt that his son had crossed the line and tried to reprimand him. However, Hiro was his only unmarked son, because without his knowledge, Hiro had branded his own brothers with the birdcage seal. This left Hiro as the only viable heir to the family.Kurumi understood Hiro's frustration after losing two of the most beautiful Hyuga,
However, his actions caused some branch members to attempt rebellion. Those rebellions were swiftly quashed by the activation of the birdcage seal.
Today, while surveying the family business in Konoha, Kurumi witnessed an explosion.
"What was that?" a civilian asked.
Hyuga Kurumi immediately activated his Byakugan and recognized the figure of his son.
He rushed toward the source of the fight and found his son lying limp on the ground, severely injured in ways he had never seen before.
Haruko's Rasen Shuriken was incredibly strong, though unlike Naruto's, it lacked the same chakra reserves, so the damage wasn't as lethal as Naruto's attack on Kakuzu. Furthermore, Hiro had partially blocked the attack with his Revolving Heaven technique, but it still left him gravely injured and unable to continue fighting.
"Tell me, what is the meaning of this?" demanded Hyuga Kurumi, the patriarch.
"Obviously, I beat up your perverted son," Haruko replied.
Kurumi, who had been focused solely on his son, hadn't noticed Haruko's presence until now.
"You... the traitor of the Hyuga clan," Kurumi snarled angrily, pointing at her. Then he noticed the Hokage standing nearby. "Hokage, two traitors who escaped Konoha have returned and are now openly attacking my son. If you don't punish them, the Hyuga clan will leave Konoha."
Such a bold declaration was spoken out loud, but Hashirama and Tobirama merely looked at Kurumi, the current Hyuga patriarch.
They were, of course, angry with him, but in this era, the patriarchs were still followed by their clans. And there were many clans in Konoha.
"Hyuga members, before you is your choice. Will you abandon Konoha with the pathetic Hyuga Kurumi and Hyuga Hiro, or will you remain as proud members of Konoha?" Haruko asked, her voice amplified with chakra.
"No, absolutely not!"
"We are safe here in Konoha!"
"I won't follow them!"
"Hokage, as branch members of the Hyuga clan, we refuse to follow them."
Hearing this, Kurumi was enraged and decided to punish the branch members. He formed the tiger seal, ready to activate the birdcage curse seal.
However, the expected cries of pain did not come. Instead, it was the guards from the main family who groaned in agony.
'What is happening?' Kurumi thought, stopping his attack. Then he noticed that several of the branch members' foreheads were clean, without the mark of the birdcage seal.
"Impossible," Kurumi murmured in disbelief.
"Hahaha, it's not impossible. Now, I'll repay you the same way you treated our clan members," Haruko said.
Though exhausted and with her chakra nearly depleted, there was one final fuinjutsu she could use—the birdcage seal. She formed several hand signs and glared at the Hyuga patriarch. Suddenly, Kurumi groaned in pain as the birdcage seal appeared on his forehead.
