Perhaps sensing the gazes of his subordinates, Gabriel realized what he was doing and displayed a stunned expression. He held his head and looked at Daemom with a deep and cautious gaze.

Without noticing, he had been acting in a friendly manner, treating a complete stranger as if he were part of his family! Such a thing was simply impossible!

Yet, no matter how much he looked at the young human, Gabriel found that he couldn't feel any animosity towards him; on the contrary, he felt an inexplicable closeness.

However, this made the situation even more suspicious! Gabriel immediately thought he might be under the influence of some Gift related to emotions, but he quickly dismissed that absurd idea.

There were only two beings who could mentally influence an Archangel of his level. One was his elder Brother, and the other was his Father, but it was unlikely that either of them would do anything against him.
