Isabelle scanned the report in her hands as she walked. She barely understood every third word of it, but that was no excuse.

Everything spun, her heart and stomach lurched.

She felt like she was flying, briefly.

Then she slammed painfully into the stone floor, with a strange man stuck, huddled over her.

Her heart was racing, and she didn't think she'd ever been more scared.
