Lazy translation and boring writing. Basically another Chinese man who's good at everything reincarnated to USA 1986, working with unknown actors but became really famous in 2000s+. It's just really stupid, author didn't even bother to research the actors of that time, and just repeatedly mention factoids that never happened yet. MC is also 18 yo, like really? You can't make it at least mid-20s? Every character is also acting like a Xianxia character, it's just irritating. Fast release though, but you might as well read the MTL.
Guys, its a good book not unlike I am in Hollywood. Personally I didn’t find any problem with the grammar and the wish fulfillment aspect is there which is great. Definitely recommend. The only reason for not giving a 5 star is that you(author) claimed in the tags that this is a harem novel. I’m above 120 chapters now and there is NO sign of any harem. I’m not saying that the romance is bad. It’s actually one of the best dynamics I’ve read but I won’t deny i came for the harem in first place and it’s just not there. And inserting a harem after that much character dev between the MC and FMC will be unfavourable for the story. You should remove the harem tag at this point cause its deceiving if you claim and not deliver. This is the only reason I am thinking of dropping the novel as my reading preference is actually harem genre. Apart from that this is a great novel with interesting storyline and captivating development.

I am not going to give this a bad review per say but the MC is way to OP. going from no one to big hollywood director I less then 50 chapters. so not really my cup of tea. Still not a horrible read.
I don't care about anything else, i like the story very much. . as for some chineseism, I hv learned to ignore it. . and to be honest , i didn't find much fault with translation and it is not one of those excessive nationalist novel. .. 377 chapters in, and i am happy ... lets' see how things happen later on

An ok translation that needs more editing or a personal touch, since some chapters are disjointed when following others and the point of view is unclear sometimes or jumps without warning. My biggest problem is that I find the main character completely unlikeable.

I tried to read some chapters.... I can push through grammar errors but.... I can't take it if the stuff that is mentioned or I think is mentioned isn't corrected in the translation.... Flight of the wildebeest already grinded my gears but can't really go continue reading when "the greatest showman" popped up. I hope it gets fixed so I could read it but.... if the translator isn't part of a team, with so many works... the possibility is quite low.

If anyone would like to read this story that has 1700 chapters with better translation quality than whatever this is and not have to pay for patreon to get an extra chapter with mediocre quality and then you can find all of that on novelcool.com under the name Hollywood hunter for free with much better quality honestly asking for people to pay you for this is outrageous
